to be fair, it doesn't appear to me that it actually "can find its way out of mazes". It appears to me that it avoids obstacles, or in other words, navigate an obstacle course. Still cool tho.

that is not a photoresistor... it contains one though it gives 5v when a 40khz signal hits it.

boy like a thousand of those that are about 5th scale would be so cool. like ants craling around the house conturing the walls and going around themselves. you could have a master controler that would command them to all come back to you or split up in groups.

on the box it says that the escape robot´s built-in microprocessor enables it to "think" on its own. that is ai

it just checks if it is getting back IR or something else to meassure (i know, typo) if there is an object infront of ons of his sensors, and then he just changes direction if he detects something.

seeming you had to assemble it, what did you install:

There are 2 kinds of sensor, LED and Photosensor. Do they have same purpose ? Or they sense different types of object ???

@GreenAce92 Have you ever heard of the "right hand/left hand rule" for finding your way out of mazes? If the robot is biased to one side, it will tend to follow one wall, and eventually find it's way out of most ordinary mazes; if it drove straight, it might find it's way out, but it would likely take longer.
