It was a perfect device. I use it at home and completely happy with it. The sad point is that it's only HD Ready, and LG discontinued this design so no FullHD version is available. That's a real pity.
I have a lg dlp projector, and I have to say it is rubbish. just after six months I had problems and the after sales service is non existent hence it is sitting in my draw collecting dust.
I now have a panasonic that is fantastic.
Dont get me wrong the lg looks great and the picture was bright, but one day it just went dull. I think the lamp is faulty myself but the repair guy says it works fine! Mmm
Well, you know how big the lens needs to be, so it can't be any thinner than that. If you would have a smaller lens, it wouldn't be able to project very far, so it'd be only usable in very small rooms. I say, it's a very nice thing, this!
