the Beatles broke up because Paul & Yoko realized that George & Ringo were making millions off of them. George in particular would never have written a song like this, and yet to Paul (& certainly to John) this was a "throwaway"

George Harrison was one up their with Paul and John in the midst of songwriting genius, albeit he took longer to flourish, but that was mainly due to the fact that he had to write the guitar parts in which brought lennon and mccartneys songs to life.
