  • No footage of the incident then? Well it is a lot easier to fake an audio recording, don't you agree?

  • How can anyone give that dude the credit to be able to act that shit out-and for him AND several men to report it offically? So we have to assume every one risked thier military career to document an act? I just cant believe they were all collectively stupid or were talked into reporting something obviously crazy. Do your research, this one is undeniable.

  • @JerseyJersey100 What risk to what military career are you talking about? They're retired, the base is shut down and they haven't talked about anything classified or they'd be sitting prison. And how can you say they're story is undeniable when you know everything you saw was staged. The lights in the woods, the dark debriefing room, the sound effects. ALL STAGED. Since you saw it on TV, you must surely know this, Kirk.

  • hell yea they were scared. Listen to the fear in his voice at the end-and when that light came they immediately rolled outta there quick. They wanted no parts of that light.

  • this sounds really scripted and fake. wow.

  • @tehbible Bahahahahaaaahaaaa

  • It was probably some moron wandering around with a red-colored lamp/lantern and a flashlight. The red light was "4 feet off the ground" which would be consistent with a light carried by a person. The "winking" light description is typical of any light from a distance, especially a fuel-type light. The "beam of light" to the ground could just as easily have been a type of flashlight pointing FROM the ground to the sky. And ground lights pointed at clouds create "semi-circular" cloud visuals.

  • couple of rednecks high on mashrooms :) give me a brake

  • wow as soon as it stared playing i got chillls down my spine :O

  • His voice made me so hard.

  • What's a starscope?

  • @Scorp308 British term for telescope.

  • @xaphan9600 Thanks.

  • @xaphan9600 is it? im british and never hear it as that..

  • @ExpressiveBeats Wtf starscope is an early nightscope.

  • @Scorp308 Nightvision scope not telescope

  • They didn't just halt...it sounds like after the thing sent down a beam of light, they were "headed back to the base"-lets get the fuc outta here!

  • There is no concrete proof that Mr Jesus ever existed or that god exists. Why aren't news reporters pounding on the doors of the Vatican and mosques and churches and synagogues asking these lunatics for the concrete proof and evidence that god exists?

Clearly, government & mainstream media don't want to take sides in conjectures about supernatural phenomena, regardless whether it is proven (aliens) or complete bullshit (god, Jesus).

  • @deskset24

Silly sausage, there is plenty of evidence Jesus existed, he even gets a mention in the Koran - of course he doesn't get the lead role in that one though. ;-P

God may or may not exist but eventually you have to come to the conclusion that something has to have no beginning and no end because something can not come from nothing. What that something might be I have no idea.

  • @Muckylittleme Go see Zeitgeist, the Movie, online. Just google it.

Ok - even I admit THAT'S not fair. i.e. that movie (which makes excellent case that Jesus never even existed - is not peer-reviewed historical research.

Nevertheless, I seriously doubt a single living christian has ever read a peer-reviewed article - in ANY field, let alone history!

  • @deskset24

Hey, I'm not religious personally and this is not directed at you but it always strike me as ironic that atheists go about pronouncing the absence of God with the same zeal as those that proclaim his existence and with the same lack of evidence to support their claim - of course it is impossible to prove a negative but who's fault is that?

When we study cosmology, quantum physics and biology even at a basic level we quickly understand the Universe and our existence are quite absurd.

  • @Muckylittleme Well, of course it SEEMS that way to you - as those both sides are equally aggressive - but that's because you refuse to take into account the MASSIVE tax breaks that churches get that atheists don't get, or that great patriotic groups like Peta gets. Therefore, it's absolute BULLSHIT to think that in any way that atheists "oppress" religionists more than religionists oppress atheists.

  • @deskset24

If you're arguing with me then you should reread what I wrote.

Why have you put oppress in quotes?

I didn't mention anything about anyone oppressing anyone else.

I also do not refuse to take anything into account - not sure where or how you are getting all this from what I wrote but c'est la vie.

I do think both sides overstate their positions though - that's all.

  • PHOTEK

  • To anyone that completely denies UFOs. Why would the U.S. army print in the paper that they recovered a crashed ufo and alien bodies? How could you confuse a weather balloon with something like that?

The French "COMETA " panel concluded in 1999 that the best explanation for the 5% of completely unexplainable sightings, is that they are extraterrestrial in origin and that the U.S. government is involved in a cover-up.

Those are respected aerospace scientists, officers and engineers.

  • 3.55 these craft there quick

  • why doesnt the government just admit theres ufos my dad works @a top secret base and has proof!

  • @TheMarkc

Well then...tell dad to share the proof.

  • Did you guys see the testimony given by SSgt James Penniston at the National Press Club in Washington, DC? Sgt Penniston actually touched one that had landed. A1C Burroughs and Airman Cabansag were with Sgt Penniston when this happened. Penniston said the skin of the object felt like fabric, but it glowed with different colors. He took notes of the symbols on the craft. It then moved away with no sound, avoiding the trees.

  • But

"In 2003, ex-US security policeman Kevin Conde admitted that he and another airman had shone patrol car lights through the trees? and made noises on the loudspeaker as a prank"

  • It was not the lighthouse ! You have to find the episode of "UFO Hunters" where they cover the whole incident. There is no way possible it could have been the lighthouse and they prove it . It is just another debunking myth put out there by the military to discredit these individuals.

  • They are calm until the end of the tape when they see the "colors" in the sky that begin to follow and "beam down lights" upon them! They begin to break protocol as they get genuinely scared. It's not like this is the first solid evidence of an encounter but THIS is the first time it was captured so LIVE! A breakthrough.

  • What makes me laugh is the people who dont believe - if they dont believe why do they watch and make comments???Its like they are trying to convince themselfs things are not real, but if they dont believe in these things anyway, why do they show so much interest?

  • @funkinfelix what makes me laugh is you cant figure out youtube has a sidebar with videos and that people click those, sometimes taking you way off the topic you started with. i understand though, thats a hard one...lol. or that people might not close their minds even if they dont believe, they still inspect. or like me, some people think ufo's are total bullshit and i love reading the ridiculous comments posted by conspiracy goobers.

  • @funkinfelix well said. people are afraid of the implications and truth, truth does piss people off a bit, id rather it not be true, but know it is. id rather it not because once you do research like myself and many others you find the horrible reasons why this is kept secret , just so we can continue burning oil. and give power mad cults inside gov more power, cos if all the tech involved in ufology was released into public there would be no corporations dictating to us little people

  • @funkinfelix well your amrt enough to know i expect anyway. at least your awake to some degree.

  • from their voice you'll notice clearly that their voices weren't scared stuned or freaced from something unusual what a confidant !!? am i saying that its just a lye could be probably 85% a lye .

  • smart statement. A colonel and about thirty of his men are going to put their careers in jeopardy for no reason at all. well done.

These are professional soldiers who are trained to risk their lives and not lose their shit and you think because they dont sound scared they are lying.

Radiomen in the army are chosen for their ability to remain cool under pressure, to be focused and calm, and to provide clear and accurate information under fire.

  • try researching more about the rendlesham forest incident

  • Because they were expecting a downed aircraft, they have weapons, they're in a platoon and don't just scream at a few flashing lights; it's called inquisitive nature.

  • what the fuck is a lye? how can you even submit an opinion if you can't even spell LIE, "LIE" !

  • @nafogo Like many others have said, those men are trained to not freak out like screaming little kids in difficult situations.

Also, you may have sounded a bit more intelligent if you wouldn't have spelled half of the words you typed incorrectly. Just a tip. ;)

  • @stephanieesunshineee hh am not sure if you are making joke on me hh (another grammar mistake) but thanks for the tip forgot sake i'am from kuwait I bet you can't say a sentence in Arabic ..even if you spend 5 years learning how to pronounce just a word with ع ض

:) thanks again (I'm not sure about thanking you.. oh I'll forget it)

  • @nafogo no, and I have no intentions on learning it, just because I know I'll fail. lol Instead, I'm bilingual in English and Japanese! :) I live in America, but my mother is Japanese, and I've grown up knowing how to speak the language all my life.

  • lots of peaple say the lighthouse is what they see but iv been to that spot at night an there is no way that was a lght house ,you can see it over the farmers house but it dont shine down into the forest an you can clearly see what it is an these peaple was not that stupid i believe

  • why would there be a lighthouse in a forrest? what the fuck dumbass thought that was a possibility?

  • Lt. Col. Halt was 3rd highest ranking officer at the base at that time - behind base commander and wing commander. He was in charge of the base at the time coz his boss were on X-Mas leave. Lt. Col. just can't lie and pretend nothing hadn't happened there, coz there were many people under his control with him in the wood. Lt. Col is a honest man, too bad governments on both side try to hide or discedit the incident.

  • i wonder if they where scared? I know i would be, but also, you would just wanna go after it, and see what it is :P

  • I was stationed @Bentwaters 85-89. Col. Halt's son was stationed in the Comm Squadron with me (he was enlisted Air Force). Based upon conversations with him, I believe this isn't a hoax. As other people pointed out, too many people were involved on both the USAF & RAF side.

    Regards

  • this people saw somthing, theye not going to make there millitairie careers a shame.

    sorry for my bad english.

  • you wanted proof u wanted phyisical evedence u got it now open your mind 2 it

  • I Live In Ipswich

  • @beatleboybob unlucky

  • I think these guys saw UFO'z.

  • is this just th first sighting or the second there were two sightings in the 1980 in rendlesham forest that december. pretty cool would have been better if there were video too.

  • This was the second sighting. The next night, the Deputy Base Commander Holt went out with a geiger counter to dispel any UFO rumors or speculation himself. Boy was he in for a different view.

  • its real a colonel the guy in charge wouldnt make this up as he says WEIRD!! I BELIEVE

  • Actually, there was much, much more: See firsthand testimony of US Army Officer Larry Warren in "Disclosure", by Steven Greer (pp.307-321)
