@Tiqerboy It just didn't chart well stateside (made it to #40)... Believe it or not, most "Oldies Stations" have a very tight playlist focusing on "hits". BTW, after widespread fame hit Wolfman Jack (post "American Graffiti") he started voice-tracking radio shows for many stations across North America including 1050 CHUM Toronto.
Nobody could do it better than Ray. I do like this version though. It's a weird mid 70s rock version leaning towards early punk. If you listen closely Wolfman Jack is singing along towards the end
