I agree with the message of this film; however, it's curious that Spurlock can make fun of all other advertising and product placement, yet neglects to mention that TV "filmmaker-interview-puff-pieces" like this one are exactly the same thing. He hopes to hit his target market so he can make some dollars.
@jgwest1 Well Duh. He does these films for two reasons. One: He has a message he wants to send and wants to tell people about something so that theyll think about there lives and what they decide to do with them. Two: He has to feed his family. Don't forget he has a kid now
This all seems harmless and funny. The fact is the fed gov is using not only the media( they bribe them and threaten them to tell the news the way the feds want it told)but the education system( they tell the management of school what books to use, how to moderate the class room, how to portray the roll of gov in students live and familys and on and on) and also tell the employer every detail of how a worker is to be treated. They also tell us all though media how to decide justice and religion
Saw this today at the Egyptian. Really good. Very hypocritical.... yet not. Also incredibly funny that the actual title is going to be "PoM Presents The Greatest Movie Ever Sold"
He did mention that the start of the movie would actually begin when the commercials for the film began. Thats the whole point!
