Dude what gear do you use on stage if I may ask? I'm also looking for that deep warm punchy bass sound, but with that 'clear and crispy' edge on each note. I know it had a lot to do with powerful strokes on your strings and stuff, and a good guitar would also help a lot :P (I've got a Ibanez SRX 725 if that info helps) but I cannot get the best of the two worlds combined like you get. Hope you can help me out! And thanks for being such a great inspirator for me and a lot of other bassists!

@BeArtist1 I'd guess a little distortion and treble boost. The treble is to emphasize the clack of the strings on the frets, which is a treble frequency.

Being a bassist myself, it's totally just my guess.

But I was looking for answers about his amp and cabs :) in my setup I just cannot get it to rumble in the lows, and having that crips tone aswell, if I do that it gets in the frequencies of the guitarists, which makes the whole sound of the band lesser good. Ah well. We'll see :P Thanks for the tips though :D
