Both have reliable engine. Dt has an ancient simplier design while kmx makes up with much stronger components. Kmx has better swingarm and suspension over DT. DT is more fuel efficient than Kmx but kmx is more powerful.
i had a dtr brilliant bike but now i have a kmx and its going supermoto and having a few gym sessions to bulk her up a bit, i build bikes from from myself i dont like new bikes, i have to be able to go for a rip on it and have a break before i head home and look at it and be like ye i built that,
i think DT's better than KMX, because it is more durable and less expense in the maintenance and fuel consumption, juz a little quite different in power. because i have a DT 125.

I think it´s almost the same! Both are great 125er bikes althogh i have a KMX. ;)
