  • Yeah, stupid idea.

If you want to grow gas you should do it with oil producing trees grown as part of a renewable organic permaculture.

Carbon neutral, nice bit of shade in the garden, oil for cooking and running diesel engines.

  • Not bad work. Im a corn farmer in Iowa just checkin out some ethanol vids. I think Ethanol is just an idea. The bigger problem is population. In the US by 2100 I believe the projected US pop will be a billion meaning we would no longer export corn and would need it all to feed ourselves. High demand could be good news for me but a billion people? Do you have any ideas?

  • Please dont tell me to stop the ethanol and that could feed many so we dont have to worry about pop. Im saying in the sense that ethanol will already be history and the problems persisting

  • Wow, it seems some people who commented on this video (RegioTerraFirmaMovie) have no idea what they are talking about. What a suprise!

  • Did you also know that thee electric car emitted huge amounts of EMF2R (Electric Magnetic Frequency Field Radiation) that causes increase in stress, brain dysfunction, hysteria, and cancer of all kinds including organ failure and birth defects.

Any way the electric car is not a viable solution under the current circumstances

However we could use more sustainable forms of energy to make the electric car more efficient, suck as...

  • Did you know that this would cause the price for a gallon of oil to sky rocket from just $5.00 (relatively cheap) to a jaw dropping $90per gallon due to the fact that it is the primary power source through burning methods will cause more environmental damage than any thing else in the world except for a multiple thermo-nuclear atomic neutron-hydrogen blast.

  • -Did you know that if everyone started to drive an electric car in the United States alone, that the country would be in a -%345 energy crisis, meaning that the United States would have to build more Oil and Nuclear power plants to meet the requirement of electrical energy for auto consumer demand?

  • Green Wash of the Week: The electric Car

-Did You Know That 70% of our Electrical Generation of Energy derives from Oil Burning Power Plant/facility-?

-Did you know that the United States is in an Energy Crisis, where in the coming decade we will have a %20 shortage of Energy, which in that rate, due to a dilapidated power grid will cause %90 of the United States and Canada (who receives a lot of their energy from the United States around %40) will be in a permanent black out

  • I grew up in Indiana and I really, really *want* ethanol to be our savior. The mighty Midwest coming to the rescue would be a great story.

Unfortunately, the science just doesn't support that reality. Every day the sun's rays hit the Earth and *aren't* turned into energy is a huge waste. Why are we chasing these discredited technologies when a real solution is already here?

  • Are you really so stupid to think that this video has ANYTHING to do with race? Blow it out your ass retard.

  • This Video is "RACIST"!

RAN is a corpoarate backer and HATES middle-eastern people, being that of Egyptian, Israel and Iraq people, RAN is EVIL

  • the middle east is "NOT EVIL", however simple minded morans such as yourself are evil. You go around spreading lies and spining the truth all in favor of "Big Oil". If you get sued for that racist commentm don't be shocked, especially because i've reported your activity to "Human Rights Organization's" and further more my lawer's have confirmed that your comment is a "HATE CRIME". In addition to all of this, the "Rainforest Action Network" and all continue5

  • more naturally or even organic, leaving a large amount of cleaner agri-pro for 'Ethanol" develpoment. Not to mention Ethonal air pollution against Gasoline (oil is not a fossil!) air pollution, one with actual fore-thought would rather consume the one with less environmental danger's, that being Ethanol. Also your comment about the middle-east, well for starter's your a xenopheobic (that's a racist for slow people) continue4

  • or a lackage of food, nor inflation of food product cost. This is typically so for that food based items that are pushed into early Ethanol development are those of that, such as corn, offer little or no subtance. Example corn is a fat free and extreamly low calorie food that has no or little vitamin or or nutritional value. If any person attempted to live by consumption of cron, they would starve to death, from mal-nutrition. further more in Brazil and most other countries food is grown cont3

  • Typing as an "Organic Vegan" your video shot of the effects of ethnal as a harmful substance for the Earth and animal, plant living environment is utter nonesense. Ethanol ussally derives from "Grazed Food" that is typically thrown away due to it's high radiation exposures and toxic spenditure, howere it's now through government corruption sold to the United Nation's as "Food Aid"... How'ever the usage of any food product into the conversion of Ethanol is not going to cause starvation cont-part2

  • "It actually takes more energy to produce ethanol from corn than you get out of it once all production factors are taken into account."

Someone got an A the seventh grade science class. It always takes more energy to do something. You'll never get more energy out than you put in. Thermodynamics, F = ma, w = Fd, the law of conservation of energy...

Now I know you're thinking of something like solar cells. They too take more energy than they give out, but the sun is doing more the work.

  • Okay, so these people may be a little over the top. But, they have a great message!! They are so right!

  • At the point, the only good biofuel is WVO (waste vegetable oil), and there's not much of that to go around.

I've seen a few interesting youtube vids about biofuel from algae that look promising.

  • Good one. I discovered how much I hate corn when I started a driving job in the upper Midwest. Then I learned more about it and posted two videos about ethanol. People used to argue with me but everything I say about it has reputable sources.
