  • Why would you want to reverse it? Hell, we don't even reverse 2 trailers normally!

  • @dl500b exactly, but every tosser thinks they're the world's funniest comedian by asking me to do it. And they all think they, just then, invented the joke.

which is why I delete their comment, and block them as a user.

  • now thats cool

  • muito show este teu brinquedo, parabéns. abraços

  • @adrianopinheiro79

    muito obrigado!

  • Thank you for Responding Were can I purchase a good Tamiya Trailer?.

And are you in a Tamiya/Truck Club?

  • @trucker098

It depends on where you are, in USA Tower Hobbies are good..

    for everywhere else, eBay.

I'm a site admin on a truck forum.

    cheers!!

  • @trucker098

yes, all those trailers are mine. No, they are not for sale.

..half the fun is in the building; build your own!

    cheers!!

  • insurance would be too expensive for a road truck like that , you could hit yourself in the rear

  • Sicnr you will delete comments saying reverse it. Will it roll backwards?

Like down a steep hill or something.

Also what kind of power does it take to keep this thing rolling?

    Whats top speed?

  • @roberdude12345 yes, down a slope it would roll backwards, and with this much weight, not much would stop it.... :)

there's over 100kg of trucks and trailers there....

Power? the 12v7Ah battery went flat in 15 minutes: under normal use, the battery will last for many hours.

    rough numbers, about 300W.

this truck's top speed is a little faster than walking pace, in third gear.

    cheers!

  • That was amazing!

  • @krackedskulls96 thanks!!

  • wow lots of work setting up that I bet

  • @redzie52 yep, and repairs afterwards, too..... :)

    cheers!

  • damn

  • damnnnn this thing would not even fit in my house hahah!!

  • that is so sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome! Thanks for posting, now I don't feel so alone having thousands of dollars invested in this hobby. Over 200 cars, trucks, boats and planes, (so far)

  • lot of money.

  • Holy shit thats awsome man!

  • AWSOME MEN NICE TOYS

  • roadburnner991 is a minor and can not buy or sell anything

i know i am his mother

  • @roadburner991 ahh, but its nice to dream a bit...... :)

..but his profile says he's 21.. hmm......

    cheers!

  • roadburnner991 is a minor and can not buy or sell anything

  • i think it bad ass you can turn it in that small of an area. i dont think i could.

  • When will it end no one knows

  • hey, Video Poster, would you sell me on of your semi trucks and a trailer? (REMOTE TOO) ??

  • @TheSchizoPsycho I'd like to say yes, but it wouldnt work out. the armail from here to there would make it too expensive, and the possibility (probability) that it would get damaged in transit is too great..

and besides, half the fun is making the kit yourself. that way, if you break anything, you know how to fix it.

its not that hard. the kit's instructions are extremely good.

    cheers!

  • putz da onde ele tirou tanta carreta rsrsrsrsrs

  • due i looked on ebay and a trailer alone was almost $400 and the shipping was almost $100 i dont know about you but im not payin 500 bucks for a trailer

  • @bulldogbikerider yeah, the prices have gone up a bit since I built this lot.. but here's the thing: Tamiya isnt the most expensive.. have a look at the prices demanded fo Wedico..there are cheaper brands, but they're 'toy grade'.. some constructors buy a 'bruder' trailer, and upgrade it.

as for the postage, the kits are heavy and airfreight can be costly; but still cheaper than off-the-shelf retail.if it was available. which it isnt here.

  • @rcroadtrain try 1000 trailers

  • @roadburner991 hmm..only if you buy and pay for them!!

  • wooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • เจ๋งจริงๆ

  • @MrSurask

    thanks!

    ขอบคุณครับ

  • Where to buy it ?

    Ebay or somewhere elese?

  • @TheVithu11 yes, Ebay is probably the cheapest, but be prepared to pay for postage, the kit weighs several kgs..

  • this is cool were can i find rc trucks like this

  • @darksidesinners702 Ebay has a great range... or Tower Hobbies do good mail order,,

    search for 'Tamiya 1/14'

but I have to warn you, building these becomes addictive...... :)

    cheers!

  • I remember snake..

  • anacondaqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq

  • now that was cool mate thanks for the video

  • wowwww

  • I wonder what people would think if they saw this rolling down the sidewalk...

  • WTF O_O

  • now you mention it, How do road trains reverse? or don't they. I've never thought of that before.

  • @imautuber444 they dont.

roadtrains load and unload from the side, saving time.

no need to unhitch, or manouvre. just keep going forwards.

  • @imautuber444 we do it with exceptionally great skill : )

  • whats the point of this?

  • @WakeMyBow

    fun.

    personal entertainment.

    and, because I can.

  • Haha Nice!

  • @TheWazzzupp

    thanks!

check out my 40 trailer clip...

  • Až hnusně přehnaný.

  • @MrDeath3331

    ?????

is that czech? Až hnusně přehnaný = Up disgustingly overdone.

doesnt quite make sense in English......

  • thanks!

  • How much is this?

  • @23MILOVAN dont know, I lost count....

    a lot.

  • you should fill them all up with stuf and make a vid if that thing can pull it

  • @mikmange95 why?

  • @rcroadtrain it would b cool if it could

  • is wonderful, it's done right, it's beautiful, congratulations, your road train is perfect. Hugs from Brazil.

  • @wfreire10 Thanks!!

  • can you use a toothpick as dolly lock to back it up. This isn't a joke. put the toothpick through the trailer into the dolly. then it would be eaiser to back it up to loading docks

  • @wetjohndeere52 I'll let this one through for the moment.. but I'll remove it soon.

No, a toothpick wont work. The stresses, even on a small model, are huge; the turntable lock would need to be made out of metal.

    but..

why would you? roadtrains are NEVER loaded any other way but forwards...and unloaded the same: forwards.

  • @rcroadtrain come on man give the guy a brake he was just pointing out something. be nice.

  • @Balto2WolfQuest

    *break

I was being nice, I approved his post and answered it.

Normally a comment containing any reference to going backwards would be removed, and the commenter blocked.

But I could see this as an honest question...which is why I didn't delete it.

  • cool it would be so awesome if that was a real size truck

  • @ajboy1999 thanks!!

the real size one was awesome.. 113 trailers..

    youtube search "womDrAUCgzw"

(but there's no way it'd fit in my driveway!!)

  • Where did you get 37 trailers?

  • @YoCzechYourself I made them.. some from kits, others are handmade using tamiya suspension/axles...

    I now have 42 trailers.

  • @rcroadtrain Lol, is there even a point, I mean after 42 wouldn't u be like, I think I'm good for now lol.

  • @YoCzechYourself yeah, that point was 40.. I've made 2 more, just havent had the motivation to do another vid yet...

  • try a drive through!

  • Can it push itself?

  • @evoteck

..there are so many places where it pivots and hinges that it would be imposible to push this from the back.

    cheers!!

  • that incredible.

  • allor la chapeau a celui qui la fait

  • @scaniavabis33

allor la chapeau a celui qui la fait???

I tried to translate this, but.... it did not make sense...

J'ai essayé de traduire cela, mais .... il n'a pas de sens ...

  • @rcroadtrain

free translated: great work, to the person who built it.

  • @Vassilika1 thanks... google translator came back with something about hats(!??)

    cheers!

  • @rcroadtrain

chapeau is a hat, but it means also "respect" ...

  • @Vassilika1 ..thanks, I only speak english so I rely on google to translate... just one place where it didnt work... :)

    @scaniavabis33 ..Grazie!

  • holy shit that truck has 4 axles on it! thats awesome!

  • you should go full speed ahead and slam on the breaks

  • @1999samtheman with this mant trailers, i couldn't get to full speed in third gear... this was full speed in first.

breaks? the only brakes is through the electrical speed controller... and it can easily lock the trucks rear wheels.

    cheers!

  • I am astonished! This truck has a huge traction! A man could even be pulled by this truck!

  • Could this qualify for the Guinness Book of Records as the longest remote control model?

  • @davidjb65 yes, but it costs over $2K to get guiness to come out and judge.. and for $2K I can buy a lot more trucks... :)

  • @rcroadtrain

Yeah then someone would just hook up 38 trailers and you would just have wasted $2k. After watching these vids Im hooked

  • @buckeyesaabclub yeah, it was me.. I hooked up 40, and soon, 42.

I am well and truly hooked...

    cheers!!

  • 18 people are jealous because they don't have a RC toy train like that.

  • Thats A cool thing man. Where do you buy all your trailer axes and suspension parts from??

  • @marcus2168 Thanks! the parts came from several ebay sellers.. they're all tamiya axles and springs..

  • that thing should be on tracks, or atleast say UPS

  • speed up to 88 MILES PER HOUR!!!! :D

  • wtf

  • The D.O.T. would have a pow wow if they saw this... Have fun.....

  • lol

  • Man, that's a f*cking strong truck! Cool !

  • hahah holy shit that things long you could turn around and hit yourself lol

  • @AirsoftTwinkie the next clip with 40 trailers is even longer...:)

  • Did you ever put a scale on the first trailer to see what is the actual pull effort the tractor is doing?

  • @norbyx75 no, but I have put a scale on it and found out it can pull about10Kg before the wheels start losing traction.(without a load over the axles)..

  • whats the max amount of -trailers/stuff- you've pulled with that motor setup?

it reminds me of the old game 'snake'

  • @BASSnSPACE240 so far, 40 trailers (rc road train #40.01).. but I'm working on another 2 trailers now. I weighed all the trailers and stuff after doing this clip (37) and it totalled over 100Kg.

    cheers!

  • Well thats cool

  • Impressive !!! indeed ! good !!

  • Wow, that many trailers pulls better and more inline or "on rails" then I thought it would...

  • mabey you could get a rc crawler motor has alot of torque but not much speed?

  • @freakstyle2030 maybe.. maybe not. along with the reduced motor speed, crawler motors have reduced overall power.

I'm quite happy with my setup, thanks.

  • wow

  • Why did you not get the big one?

  • @KINDARUDE sorry, the big one? I dont understand... what do you mean?

  • wtf? how many rcs are there?

  • @geo6642 only one doing the work, the rest are there to add weight to the trailers.

    cheers!

  • @rcroadtrain i can see that

  • crazy, u must have a really strong engine in there, what does it run on?

  • @Tefans97 the motor isnt that strong.. but it is geared down. The truck runs on a 12v gel battery (because it was cheaper than a NiMh pack).

    cheers!!

  • only in australia

  • now i know where all them trailer came from that are on ebay..........

  • @Aaron123456100 I havent sold any of my trailers..

but yes, I know where they came from too....JAPAN!!

    cheers!

    richard in sydney

  • wow

  • DAM! so amazing but i wanna see a real truck with 37 trailers on beltway

  • @puristthunder I've got a loooong way to go to catch up to the 1:1 guys.. the record for them is over 112 trailers!!

    cheers!

  • I'm interested in getting started with a model. I just want a basic kit. how much would that run, just a simple peterbuilt model tractor/trailor?

  • @Token9384 as you're in USA same as the last guy (98medinajose), the same reply is applicable...

either ebay (dont forget to add the postage!!), or, tower hobbies has the kit ($399),

To make it move you'd need radio gear, servos (2), electronic speed controller, battery and charger for the minimum setup.

As each item is a variable, I couldnt give you an exact price.

have a search around for 'tamiya 1/14'..... you might get a package deal..

    Cheers!!

  • how much does a semi cost with everything and where can i buy it i live in mn

  • @98medinajose

RRP is about US$650, but ebay from Asia is much cheaper.. search for 'Tamiya 1/14'

    or

Tower Hobbies (USA) does excellent mail order, and their prices are very good. (US$399 for the kit)

    options are: lights and sound unit, 'animal gaurd' (bull bar), roof spoiler;

how much it costs depends on how much you want to spend....LOL!!

    Cheers!

    Richard in sydney

  • make some battery box trailers and add power 2 the truck...get more time out of that thing..

  • @acidDiesel there's no point in making it go for longer when doing the roadtrain record pulls, the first drive axle gets worn out and breaks in less than half an hour (if I'm lucky!!).

I sometimes carry more batteries when doing long runs with less trailers, see my clips 'RC b double # 3 browns waterhole' and ' rc b triple parts 1,2,3 and 4'

    Cheers!!

  • how long does the battery last with all those trailers and it looks sooooooo much fun lol

you must get a lot of people lookin at you as u drive down the roads :L

  • @borntobeatrucker1 Hi! the battery only lasts about 30 minutes, if I could get the first drive axle to last that long... with one or two trailers, it lasts about four hours.

I do get some looks as I go along the footpaths, have to be carefull not to cause accidents..... this vid was done in my driveway so I wouldnt distract the traffic.

  • ok now honestly without it being a joke is there any way you really can back that thing up?

  • @08whitesierra4x4 no, there is no way... in real life, roadtrains go forwards only.

  • i counted 31 trailers i think well done buddy added to my favourites and subed !

  • @ybnved69 there's def 37 there.. I know, I had to carry them all out of the garage, and put them back after!!

    Cheers!

  • Those trailers must have cost you a fortune

    I subbed :)

  • @MrMonkeyHD there's a lot tied up in them for sure... but Tamiya stuff, while its not 'free', isnt as expensive as some brands.....

    cheers!!

  • Imagine this on a 1:1 scale...I'd hate to follow that....

That thing must have massive power?

  • @Neonspinnazz30 I've got a ways to go to catch up to the 1:1 guys... they're pulling 112, or even more....

Power? not really, but it does have low gearing... and only first gear got used.

  • @rcroadtrain Interesting. Subbed!

  • i love it u must have alot of fun with it great vid

  • @O2CA7 thanks! they're a lot of fun....

  • i secretly like this stuff. i have a question.. do the drive tyres wear out pulling such weight wear out? as in real life?

  • @al323f yes, the tires do wear (cornering scrubs them), but the diffs break first...

    cheers!

  • by the time you did a pre trip the first tire you checked would have dry rotted

  • How many trailers were being pulled? That was awesome man...

  • @BrothrBob 37, thanks! ....

  • rapaz eu nao tenho road to te perguntando

    !!!!!!

  • @tisssgabriel2009

rapaz eu nao tenho road to te perguntando!!!!!!

= boy I'm not asking you to road !!!!!!

???? something got lost in the translation...

  • @rcroadtrain im portuguese... he said something like... boy i have not road im asking you... event being portuguese i didnt understood what he said...

  • @azoreanskater thanks, I thought maybe Google Interpreter messed it up, ..it just didnt make sense..

    cheers!

  • how can one truck do that

  • @coolkidtoocool low gearing, only using first gear (the truck has a three speed gearbox), lots of work upgrading the drivetrain.

    and a very big battery.

    cheers!

  • well anyone who nows about road trains nows they donr get reversed that is top work on that model mate well done

  • @rasigs ...thanks! normally I would delete a comment containing 'reverse', but this time the comment is spot on!

    cheers!

  • quanto vc pagou nesse road train me fala

  • @tisssgabriel2009 quanto vc pagou nesse road train me fala = how much you paid for this road train tells me

I do not know.. I spent a lot of money for trailers =

Eu não sei .. Passei um monte de dinheiro para reboques

    cheers!

  • o rcroad train eu sou do brasil abraços vamos manter contato pa americano mano

  • @tisssgabriel2009 ?? dont understand..não entendo

  • @rashadet thanks!! The truck is (retail price) US$650, but ebay is cheaper. search ebay for "Tamiya 1/14".. the postage is expensive (around US$100) because the kit is heavy.

  • This is the far most insane road train, some power that engine must have to pull all that stuff.

  • @tunespt thanks!! the motor isn't a big one, its the gearing that gives the torque...

    cheers!

  • where you bought that truck?

  • @tisssgabriel2009

ebay, in parts... but you can buy them as a full kit, either ebay or several mail-order hobby shops.

    cheers!

  • this shit has fucking gears?

  • @HeavyHauler89 yep, these rc trucks have a three speed gearbox as standard.

  • how hard is it to stop?

  • @lonwel not too hard, but I dont have it going very fast. (only first gear.)

  • QE BUEN VIDEO, MI PREGUNTA ES TU ERES ELFABRICANTE DE ESTO?

  • @zkaviiio spanish??

..QE BUEN VIDEO, YOU ARE MY QUESTION IS manufacturer makesthis OF THIS?

maker is Tamiya. Some trailers are made by me, using Tamiya parts..

es fabricante de Tamiya. Algunos remolques están hechas por mí, con piezas de Tamiya ..

  • @rcroadtrain and is tamiya? is dedicated to making toys or something asy? very good video, thanks for responding
