  • Jungle has splitted out of DnB (Or maybe the reverse) Many years ago. Jungle today stay in its path and has evolved so much, being produced especially by North Americans,And many european countries in a underground sciene, varying from Ragga to Ambient. DmB Stills popular at UK.

  • sick tune man, the speed ajust ive never seen on any video tho

  • lighter crew...

  • Holy Shit.

  • isnt thins old skool dnb? not jungle?

  • @isuckbananaz old school jungle.

  • @sticksquash

defo prefer jungle to nowadays dnb :O

  • @isuckbananaz jungle and OLD OLD school drum and bass are practically the same thing, and this is Jungle :D

  • @fagatron97 Yes it is Jungle. Drum n Bass is sorta considered a more watered down version. Not as dark and evil sounding and more cookie cutter I suppose.

  • To those complaining about the speed, it's due to a variety of jungle album and compilations changing up the tune to speed it/pitch it up.

I don't know what album this one came from though.

  • @sticksquash your spot on, this didnt come from a compilation album but the record itself, so its EXACTLY as it was originally intended

  • @leesmusic yes this track is very slow. I had it on vinyl and it's just under 160BPM. But why did you cut the piano intro out?

  • What is this speed thing??

  • The drum instrument in this type of remix, what is that one called? The instrument.

  • @Corey6496 haha its not a remix man, and its the 'amen break' its a sped up funk break from the 70's used a lot in jungle and dnb

  • Comment removed

  • WRONG SPEED

  • I first heard this out the windows of a white Astra GTE at the age of 11 somewhere near Staines

  • Tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuune!!

  • The perfect jungle tune from the rude boy Ray Keith, this is a motherfucking anthem!

  • its playing SUPER slow in this video

  • 5 deaf tards miss the fckin button

  • Look for drum and bass collection from 2000s on piratebay my killer collection

  • Some body have the remix of this tune with MC GQ please?

  • Picture the scene... you walk into the tent of thousands of sweaty rushin bodies, the vibe rippling through the floor ceilings and walls.

You manage to fight your way to near the front via a labyrinth of grinning dancers.

Then it starts... Dj Hype starts his set introduced by MC GQ... All you can hear are horns and whistles until the bass of TERRORIST starts.

The scratching starts... the rush starts... The glow sticks glow stronger...

For those who know what im talking about.. RESPECT 2 U

  • @fusion1275 i actually did that Helter Skelter 97

  • @fusion1275 probably would be IC3

  • @fusion1275 hypes gay....nowdays anyways

  • 0:01 - probably one of the most eargasmic bass on the world! and this beat. moving shadow forever! :)

  • Renegade = Ray Keith?

  • @D3rarsch correct

  • This lp is already since 1994 the most wanted Leader of al qaida ! Fuckin' terrorist

  • My favorite part is when the bass kicked in

  • lighterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

  • wery good, greetz from czech shitpublic

  • why label music whos cares if its drum n bass or jungle. music would never progress if idiots always label it!! stop being such a geek .........

  • Jungle = DnB = Jungle

    Truth.

    Love that amen. <3

  • @NeoTStyle word

  • shit man i bet this was a fuckin killer when first come out.. I can just imagine this being played at the rave for the first time and everybody there listening to this for the first time ever, must of been massive. These days pretty much all the people would hear tunes on internet first...

  • @ni99anugget Man, it really was! Totally blew my mind. I still get the chills when I hear it + an irresistible urge to jump on my feet and dance

  • @ni99anugget i know exactly what you mean, im 16 but i wish i was born 10 years earlier, would've loved to have been about when jungle was big!

  • @ni99anugget You couldn't possibly imagine.............. AWOL at the now sadly demolished Paradise club in Islington was quite simply the most mental club ever, dark beyond belief, forget the big raves, this was the shit, when London truly run ting. Those that were there will know what im chattin about.

  • @zimzimmer242 Yes mate....those were the days.....tracks like this....club was kicking on the second floor stage

  • @ni99anugget You're right dude, this was a killer back in the day and still is!

I remember when Grooverider dropped this tune in the mix and the whole venue went CRAZZZZZY! It was rewound 3 times, the amen was crisp and the intro bassline shock the place apart. It was definitely a stand out tune in 1994 even though there were loads awesome tracks that year.

  • @ni99anugget

You're dead right people went fucking nuts esp when that killa b-line rumbled in

  • @ni99anugget SAD BUT TRUE sorry but the 90s were fucking amazing ! but still fun to be had as long as u keep steppin

  • my clothes are all soggy :(

  • 'Skippy blue shirt' brought me here

  • best ever jungle tune

  • great tune the raver from derby jungle follower from day 1 1993 to 2011 with the dnb vibes true jungle warrior

  • Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

  • ever since i discovered dnb in 2007 it has become a part of my life this is old skool tho love it

  • MSX FM

  • 3 people have pressed the dislike button that is sad this track is pure beast its amazing that sucks that 3 people dont like this

  • @THERAVERFROMDERBY ever since youtube started that like/dislike feature every fucking page on the site has someone in the first few comments saying something about a specific number of people that don't like something. its annoying, get the fuck over it

  • @pce81z no i dont agree this is a great track so stuff you

  • @THERAVERFROMDERBY of course it is, but that doesn't make those comments any less annoying

  • @THERAVERFROMDERBY The Ratio of likes:dislikes is almost 100:1 right now, so its an inspirational ratio. I also saw another video where someone posted a comment '34 peeps thought the dislike button means this I like'. It just depends how you look at things. There is no such thing as an impartial observation.

  • this is so far the best dnb track i've ever heard the next is london elektricity

  • @bishopdante Thanks for the info man. Thanks to you I know what generation y means because ive never even heard that before. I know what you mean about the zero-copyright sampling times through in the 90's, i think it makes artists much more into music and creative, now everything good is underground i guess. look up the Remix Manifesto, its a doc on sampling and copyright, you might have heard of it already

  • @DJEsqualus finally i found someone whos into that old school 90's dnb in the generation Y like me. The first time i was introduced to dnb was when i played a grand theft auto game called liberty city stories. but its people like me and you that could possibly change the shitty music mainstream nowadays

  • @samuelaustintaylor how can ya be into dnb since the 90s when GTA came out in 00's

  • immense classic

  • how is drum n bass different from jungle?

  • @DomnulSarb this is jungle, dnb is bum tish-bumtish sounding shit

  • @MrDrunknbass yep this guy is a wise man knows his stuff not many people do

  • The fast doosh-taka-doosh-taka-doosh-taka-taka-taka-taka tells me "Hey, zuwig, I'm a cool Jungle track", but the bassline and the piano melody makes me identify it as Breakbeat Hardcore Rave. And wait, wait, what was that at 3:46? I smell a nice mix with "Valley of the Shadows".

  • @zuwig good man!

  • Im so glad this was made in the year i was born... makes 1994 truly remarkable

  • No sade or steph or piano! what happened to finding the hanged man? where's his bit. noetic science doesn't lie and reveals he's never had a perfect partner. Give him flow! he doesn't know who this is.

  • @POWpowerstationish this night he's drunk but thinkhe's tipsy. Well deserved, give him the lighthouse aheead please! ----------- 24/1.10 You reach here again if failed?

  • i would of loved to be around when this was all kicking off. Its all good with the dubstep wave thats in motion but it doesn't have the rawness of this type of music. Theres no idividuallity about anything any more (N)

  • @Frizstep yeah plus dubstep is complete garbage

  • One of the sickest tunes of all-time.

  • @AbortedCannibalTOM

Oh it is, i've been using it in some of my tunes ^^'

  • @AbortedCannibalTOM 100% right.

  • i dont think dnb or jungle whatever is good nowadays like it use to be in the 90's.

even the new dubstep sucks and its starting to get overrated. to much of a party seen i guess not much art in my gen idk. quote me if im wrong

  • @samuelaustintaylor

Im only 15, the first DnB I ever heard was Moving Shadow and that was agesss ago and I still remember, and I agree that 90's drum and bass is better by far, it doesn't lack the 'crispness' that the more later drum and bass has. ^^'

  • @DJEsqualus

Made on Akai-Atari, floppy disks, vinyl cuts, DAT or cassette masters, cheap 8 track mixer at best, often just some cheapo DJ mixer.

Mind you, listen to high-end productions like Adam F or Roni Size, and the sound quality is way above today's 2step overloaded BS.

  • @samuelaustintaylor

You can thank Rupert Murdoch, Simon Cowell and Guy Hands for the "no culture" policies. Generation Y hasn't been given the chance to do proper "I'm feeling this vibe" art, authenticity is seemingly forbidden.

The old pirate radio scene was great, the zero-copyright sampling policy was great, the multiculturalism and rawness, great. The graf culture... great. Warehouse parties.

All of that is illegal and gone, history

  • JUNGLE 4 eva

  • wtf with 3 negatives?

  • what a tune

  • NO ONE CARES WHETHER IT' S D'n'B, JUNGLE OR HARDCORE!

It's cool that's all that counts

  • Its junglism u balloons!

  • AOE 1 sample is epic. I don't care what genre this is, it's got epic usage of an old school Age of Empires track =D

  • @BaronVonNeil Which sample is it?

  • Roller express all the way.... wicked jungle tune - rememebr how jungle edged the old hardcore out....loved both....

  • Roller express all the way....

  • man this tune is expensive on vinyl, want it bad ://

  • Comment removed

  • This is Jungle, subgenre Darkcore. DEFINITELY not Drum and Bass.

  • 2 people obviously missed the like button... (sorry had to do it just once in my life)

This was one of my first experiences with Jungle, and the moment I heard that hypnotic reese bass and the little vocal snippets I was hooked. It was on a Jungle album my friend lent me and it had other classics on there too, like Dead Dred, Renegade Snares, Super Sharp Shooter to name a few. It definitely started my love for Jungle. I'd never heard anything like it before in my life. Jungle forever.

  • hard-core drum n bass in a junglist fashion...........have it! chooooooooonage! xxx

  • I love this, the bit where the piano comes in, I heard on a live set around 1999 ish? with the lyrics nicky blackmarket...I so want that whole set

  • great tune from back in the day ... i mix new hardcore, freeform, gabba, old skool and sumtimes dnb but still manage to squeeze this in any set its just an awesome tune =]

  • this was when dnb actually had bass in it

  • @MrDrunknbass Do you realize how fucking dumb you made yourself sound with that comment. 1. Not DNB, Jungle. 2. DNB certainly fucking does have bass in it. Wow some people are so fucking arrogant and stubborn I can't fucking believe it.

  • @BarakaObama2012 sorry, in them days jungle was considered to be drum n bass. U got that bit wrong pal

  • @Sensualsenior If you define drum and bass as any music with drums and bass then just about every genre that exists would fall into that category. Drum and Bass and Jungle are two clearly defined styles, while similar in many ways, to call either one both Drum and Bass and Jungle at the same time would be incorrect.

  • @MrDrunknbass

    Its Jungle!

  • @MrDrunknbass its jungle.

  • @MrDrunknbass its jungle you prat

  • @BarksdaleBeats lol

  • @MrDrunknbass Yeah the Reese bassline was sampled for this.

  • @MrDrunknbass and when it was called jungle

  • @MrDrunknbass NOISIA HAVE BASS TOO :)

  • Who gives a fuck this is the tune that got me into drum and bass in the first place. Ray Keith all the way man

  • (club owner) : " So is it Jungle? Every time we have Jungle here, there is always trouble!!!"

(Promoter) : " Nah mate, its called Drum n Bass"

  • Amen, brother. I never get bored of that break

  • This choon WAS 94!!! Classic Amen!!!

  • JUNGLE TECHNO BOH

  • Who cares what it is? Hell, It sounds awesome, let's all agree to that!

  • Comment removed

  • Listen.... Jungle this is and always will be as you can tell by the sound of the bass and riffs. Drum and Bass come after Jungle... God knows why they changed the name but all I know is that they should of changed the styling name of music like Ragga or Dark Jungle

  • I feel like someone freestyling to this would be sick.

/gets out flame shield for endorsing rap in a DnB area

  • Jungle...breakbeat..drum n bass...hardcore...rave....Whats the difference....It's all music. What is it in the UK that drives so many people to have to categorize, it makes fuck all difference. The whole reasoning behind electronic music is that its about the music, in all forms, not the person behind it and definitley not the punter who buys it and wants to look clever dropping names and such.

  • i was born in 94 so i just missed the jungle scene but i wish more youths listened to it cos im the onli 1 i know that does but thats cos me dads a dj and most of ma vinyls are jungle and dnb, damn i miss jungle

  • @1AOONE1 im born 93 and my cus in 97 we like jungle and all other proper music basically we listen to tunes from the 2oth century cause the 21st century is shit were u from

  • @bad901 me, im from huddersfield but 21st century music aint shit cos im a dubstep head but there are old kinds of music i wish were more popular nowadays such as jungle and old school hip hop(cos lets face it nu skool hip hop is dead)

  • Has there been a remix of this song on Moving shadow? Sounds very familiar :)

  • breakbeat..

  • how is this hardcore? ....its bloody jungle!
