Duffy and Adele came on the music scene at the same time. Both were excellent in the beginning. But while Adele has gone from strength to strength and is clearly getting better, sadly, Duffy is going nowhere with her constantly used 'pinky and perky' irritating whine. Why she is encouraged to do that when she can sing perfectly well is beyond me.

When I booked tickets for this gig she was due to perform in the foyer for around 300 people max, then they moved it into the main hall and by the night of the performance she had the number one record in the UK. By the end of the year her album was the 4th biggest seller in the world.

Can't wait for album number 2, but will she ever perform in a small town like Aber again?
