I like the instructional videos but as SonyCamry says, the defender would not allow so much room for a turn like that unless the team were tactically playing low pressure defence. A much better method of turning would be to invite pressure to your left/right and take your first touch to the opposite side or to create seperate and control the ball whilst turning and pivoting on your standing foot.

a good defender will stay close and not alow u to turn
