@edieuro95 I use a cleaning patch and soak it with CLP. Then I wipe the spring completely with the CLP cleaning patch. This leaves a thin layer of CLP as protection on the spring. Once everything is back together, I put about 5 drops of CLP on the spring to act as a lubricant when it slides back and forward in the receiver during firing. Thanks for your comment. -Steve
