@Dawesdrum Hitting them softer/properly makes them last way longer, and they're made 250 each because they're not made with templates and they're made by hand and propper machines and acctually made in America not China. I can guarantee you'll get wayyy more use out of a cymbal before it break if you play it like he does. The only reason that famous drummers beat the shit out of their cymbals is because they dont care if they break, they have class A/B endorsment so everythings free or cheap as

I understand that, but if your gonna buy those cymbals, surely its best to lose yourself in the music and just not worry about everything. I didn't say he had to beat the shit into them, im saying that you are able to hit them and they will still last a long time because they are built out of cast bronze. If you hit the cymbals properly, then there is hardly a chance that they are going to break if you raise the bar a little.

To you maybe. That sort of thing is always relative to someone's experience. For me there are a couple of the faster fills that are still giving me trouble. But I agree that this needs to be played with a little more emotion. The drummer looks totally bored and that isn't fun to watch.
