i know you color correct in ae, but whats your process to get all the clips color corrected? like do you do each clip one by one or do you render it out and then color correct the whole vid? i like color curves in ae but im sorta overwhelmed about how im going to go at putting it on all the clips.

@kdbooth97 Hi, well I always use adjustment layers over the whole project. It's much easier to manage. So I insert an adjustment layer then start to play around with curves and what not on that layer.

@kdbooth97 ah, well I import all the clips and colour correct them. Then I export them as one video file. Import to vegas and then split them back up into seperate clips.

I know this is a random question, but I think your good at replying to viewer comments. Do you know any way to stop the Vegas preview screen from lagging. I've tried closing everything and turning it to preview or draft, but it still seems to lag. Could you help? Oh and my computer pretty much brand new and has good ram and memory...

@xMaNiiKx Hmm, make sure you are working on Draft:Half, that seems to work for me, but if you are needing to make precise changes, just go onto Best or something. Also, open up task manager and make sure no unnecessary programmes are open. Also, there is an orange triangle to the left of the timeline ( this may depend on your screen setup ) but it changes the rate the video will play back at, put it to around 0.4 but make sure you go back to 1 after previewing. Hope this helped.

i see alot of people including myself have been moving from game editing to real life editing... its probably because we are all realizing that life isnt around gameing and you cant have a life or job by editing cod... but lets not all forget that without the whole youtube cod editing community we would have never started this... and to be hounest this whole youtube editing has changed my life for the best forever really...

But the reason I'm stopping video game editing isn't because I can't see a career in it, I'm not arsed about that because it's just a hobby, not all hobbies have to be careers. But with real life, it's so much more satisfying knowing that you created 100% of the video & the possibilities are endless. But like you said, I owe it to the community that got me started.
