this is how i feel about homosexuality. I am a strong christian. But I do believe that love is found in all shapes and forms. It doesn't matter if a person of one gender loves some body else of that same gender. Love is Love, no matter what.

Can anyone please tell me where it says or indicates in scripture that David and Johnathon, as well as Daniel and (I couldn't make out the name) had homosexual relationships. A friend of mine is concerned about his daughters gay lifestyle and this could help him a lot. But I need to see it because I don't want to be guilty of blasphemy or heresy. The spartans belived same sex relashionships, not only because the love between two men was thought to be the highest form of love, but because the leaders on the armys found that the men would perform better in battle when wanting to impress a lover, so what beter than having a couple fight side by side. the spartans knew how to do it :)

Don't forget: Ruth and Naomi. The Greek word (Dabaq) used to describe Ruth's relationship with Naomi was also used in the Bible. To describe a man's relationship with his wife.
Not to mention, some of their words to each other are used nowadays in weddings.
So words used in marriage ceremonies were first spoken woman to woman?

Matthew 8:5-10 details Jesus visiting a centurion and his servant. At least, that's the english version. The Greek uses the word Pais which has three meanings: son, slave, or homosexuals partner (in context, as centurions couldn't take wives on duty they often took their preferred servant as a homosexual partner).
Luke tells the same story (7:1-9) which uses the Greek Entimos Duolos. Honoured Servant. So it can't be his son, nor can it be an ordinary slave. In context and in translation

When the bible was translated into English some passages, like the one you're flaunting around, were intentionally changed to enforce the notion that homosexuality is "wrong". The translators were displeased with King James', the one who ordered the English translation of the bible, sexual orientation. An underlining attack on their ruler.
