  • that nugget pays for the metal detector. $6375 melt if not more because its a nugget.

  • Except for the flanged button tektite I haven't noticed many meteor finds. Aren't a lot of meteorites worth more than their weight in gold? I guess it's hard to find them if you have ferrites tuned out, but do you keep a look out for unusually dark and iron looking pieces? If not, it would be advisable.

I love what you do man, living the dream. Good show.

  • Fake

  • @miskoe79 He is definitely not a fake. This is the deal he gets for living in Australia.

  • I am watching all your videos one after another, what detector are you using?

  • any idea on how a chunk of gold that size is found in the middle of a desert area?

  • @farenht456 yes, it's basically geology.. there is gold in the underlying rocks being slowly eroded out over millions of years and concerntrated on the surface.

  • @zaqqaz22 cool,it just seems like there would be multiple nuggets in a small area

  • This is the best video ever ! his remarks of ..."Life is good " a priceless masterpiece of Zak !!! I can't get enough of this. He is living in a world of "Gold" heaven !!!

  • If I go to australia, can I just start doing this right away or do I need permission to do this?

    Btw, Love your vid's ;)

  • @BAAAASJE G'day Mate,

In order to prospect in Australia you require a mining liscence. You also need permission to be prospecting, certain areas of crown land are permitted, others you need permission from local rangers ect. Private property is ok, as long as you have the owners written consent to be prospecting (and you buy 'em a slab) There are quite a few mining shops around the capitol cities that can help you with the licenses and maps of open land. adios!

  • @SirSquishyOlly

Thanks mate, that was very helpfull ;)

  • @BAAAASJE it is never so simple.. but there are many areas you can prospect without too many issues..

  • talk about right spot right time...i love prospecting...but will probably never see ass much gold as you find in your vids...luuuucky!

  • have you ever searched for gold in WA

  • LOL shit, this is unfair, i bought at 1300 aud per ouce at abc, and it only takes u a few digs

  • gold magnetic?

  • loif is good :)

  • keep posting those vids...Ulll seee how life is soon

  • this video is the best of all classics !!! I can't get enough of it...oh..life is goooood !

  • im getting a metal detector and i live in wisconsin and im going to crandon to find gold because they have a lot

  • Nice one mate, holding just over an ounce of 22c atm but you got the knack, as i am a twat and have to buy the bugger.

  • How long did it take you to find that thing. How many days/hours searching. I live in Colorado which has a rich gold mining history and with the price of gold soaring I'm seriously thinkin of trying some prospecting. Gold just jumped like $20 in the past couple days! Holy crapper!

  • Usually I find one decent nugget for every 5 to 7 days detecting.. they aint too abundant and I walk and swing for miles and miles to find them..

  • hey what type of medal detector are you useing?

  • @jasonistics you'll definitely find gold in CO, so many streams there carry some gold, but the big stuff is rarer in the U.S., so you might start out with sluicing, or highbanking and when you have a enough gold maybe get a detector, but most of it will be small stuff (great hobby though, how many hobbies pay you back in any form, at least monetarily?)

  • You are the man!

  • Thanks for the vote of confidence JRC. the only thing I got going for me is persistence and dumb luck! this shit ain't easy to find.. although the magic of video does makes it look deceptively easy..

  • well whatever works for ya! all I can say is, as a lover of gold, and with the price consistently moving up day after day, it's a great way to make money and if I was down in Australia thats what I would be doing in my spare time.

  • can i ask you a question, mr. zaq? are you already "rich"? (i use the word rich as a broad term : well off.) i would like to know where you find the time to go gold hunting. and concidering a average gold detector costs over 1k. and also, does your gold hobby pay for your gold detector?

  • Holy Crapper! Where th' flip is that? Sweet Hayzues! I'm bookin a flight y'all.

  • nice one

  • Can you send me that nugget so I can feel it. You gold hogging pig

  • Well done. did u find it in Australia? If so which state?

  • yes yes .. life is gooooood ! Zaqqa22 is making you wish you was him ! The man can get nuggets like picking strawberries.

  • 4 ounces, just like that. $4,000 US, just like that

  • бля он чуть некончил

  • You must have been out there a while... your hair's growing :-)

We might get out that way once it cools down a bit... save some for us :-)

  • fantastic find!

  • I hope you have GPS logged your finds, as these may come from a common source, follow the breadcrumbs. Nuggets on the surface (less than 0.5 meters) generally indicate that deeper investigation with more powerful equipment my yield more gold. Good luck.

  • Gold dose run in vaines you could be sitting on a giant vain somewhere along that property.

  • another ripper, and about 30 meters from the truck... Love it!

  • :D darn, if only it had been like that before! Good one!

  • feels good when you find gold, i assure you :)

  • Fantastic!

  • Damn.

I gotta get back to the west.

  • Damn.

    I gotta move to Austrailia.
