In case your wondering, the gold ore the blacksmith needs can be acquired from the tin man in the prison, though the chance of them dropping it is like one in a hundred. that's the only place I can think of considering your current position in the game.

It sucks that they tied them to the good ending just to increase play time.

@cormano64 You don't need to do any of the quests to get the good ending...but you do need to at least rescue all the villagers.

Anyway, I remember reading somewhere a great while ago about that village being tied to Castlevania's timeline in some way. Know anything about that?

for the third quest, you have to see the map, and is pretty easy to find him

The last quest for the kid is pretty easy, you just use the top screen.

I literally killed over a hundred killer fish, and still no drop >=[

Equip the treasure hat and every piece of equipment you have that raises luck. by level 25 you should have no problem dealing with killer fish anyway.
