@135impulse You absolutely can. The 3D is only valid if you have 3D content, otherwise, it's a normal 1080p 2D TV, compatible with any cable box, as long as the box has an HDMI or Component out.
hey man I bought this tv today on boxing day and when I opened it I noticed what looked to be like something lodged between the glass and the display itself. Located near the top and to the left and was curious if yours has this as well
@KDUBZ06 We haven't noticed something similar, thought maybe we never caught it. Can you send in a picture of what you're describing? If so, hit the site for our email
I have a lg passive 3d tv, and I can't really tell its running on 720p, but it's different for every person, but my glasses cost 1/10 of the active shutter ones so everybody in my house can watch 3d for cheap, my glasses also never need to be recharged and the ghosting in the image is minimum. It's good to say the pos and cons of both sides u know
@Arthurpiano Although I see your point of view, this video wasn't intended to start an Active vs. Passive debate. Much like Blu-ray vs HD DVD, just depends on what side of the fence you happen to be on. Only time will tell the victor (which will probably be neither since eventually, 3D glasses won't be required).
