Very nice work! and a lighter, more upbeat treatment than others. (Bertha "Chippie" Hill's superb version used to be on YT but it looks like it must have been pulled because of copyright or something). Good luck with your music.

Chippie was the original singer of the first recording in 1926. The song was written by the piano player, Richard M. Jones, and the trumpet player was Louis Armstrong!! I first heard it from Marianne Faithful- who does a very sad, slow and heartfelt version. I like your "sunshine-emphasized Joplinesque" version also! ;)

Thankyou very much! Yes, Amy's my name. You should put some videos up too - I'd like to see them. Maybe invest in an acoustic - grab a cheap one from ebay or a second hand store. It's less likely for an acoustic to break :)

Thanks! Yes the camera is awful I know but I've no idea how to get the videos from my camcorder to the computer. I have to do a tonne of converting which would bore me to death. Also, it's probably better that it's harder to see my face - I wouldn't want to scare anyone!

Aw thankyou Danny! Yes, well I always go by the excuse that if you step over things on the floor every day you will always remember where they are. Anytime I tidy up, I spend hours looking in draws and cupboards for things I've put away.
