@coosse it is one guitar playing the lead and a synthesized guitar backing playing the rhythm. I have reproduced this backing track myself and you can see the finished product in the above video entitled "Saint Agnes and the Burning Train - Sting cover by Al Marconi". It is a very simple piece to play so you shouldn't have too many problems learning the lead part.

The Million Dollar Question is: Is this Sting, Dominic Miller (his longtime guitarist) or both of them? My guess is that it is both of them, with Dominic playing the melody.

No matter what, it is beautiful. Too damn short, but beautiful.

It seems to me there is only one guitar playing here, the accompaniment is clearly a midi programmed guitar patch.........what a shame! For a better version listen to what Strunz and Farah did with the tune on the soundtrack from the IMAX film 'The Live Sea" it's a league apart.

@knouraee I think you'll find its one guitar playing the tune, and a synthesiser playing the accompaniment via MIDI. Its certainly not a solo in any meaningful sense, as you imply.

@knouraee I was wondering the same thing myself. But I have been unable to find any actual proof, any hard evidence, that this either man. My best bet is that a bunch of people downloaded the mislabeled song illegally and no one ever bothered to find out who actually wrote or performed it. One reason is that this is not, indeed, a solo, so I am betting its real name is NOT Spanish Guitar Solo. This kind of thing is, unfortunately, not all that uncommon. Can anyone name the album is it from?
