I edit at a magazine and sitting at a desk all day kills my back...After putting a pillow behind my lower back for years I finally bought an ergonomic belt last month that a friend recommended called the SIT4EVR. It took a little getting used but now has totally erased my back pain. I think I need a new mattress too though!!

@bcordova1234chivas Mine started in my 20's some people get it even earlier. Go to a DR. but dont just let them put you on pain pills. They will help a little bit for a little while than make it much worse. If they give you pain medication just use enough of it long enough to strengthen your core and in my case get rid of my gut. that extra weight pulling in front makes a very big difference.
Dr ben loparo a quack from waretown nj told me to drink grapefruit juice to cure all back pain. After he tryed to bill my insurance company for 30 stright visits , i no longer go to him. Stay away from dr ben loparo a quack.
@marylove2006 I thought the same thing when I was 24. 27, now, and it hasn't gone away-- Get used to it! :) Thankfully with the occasional chiropractic adjustment, once every six months or so, you can walk taller, have perfect posture and minimize discomfort for your average back-pain issues. I am a long time backpain suffer, It sounds like yours could be simple, I think a good cyropractor could help your kind of problem, 9/10 of them cracking popping back problems can be fixed, If you have already seen one take the next step with your doctor and be persistent with him or her so they know your serious, Backpain is terrible isnt it..I hope you can fix your problem soon.
I have since talked to my doctor and he says that my problem was caused from shock going up through my legs and into the base of my spine from skateboarding.. (Think jumping off a 4ft ledge and landing with your legs unbent)
He says to leave it alone and just do gentle back streches every morning and not to do anything too streneous on the spine for 3-4 weeks. ;)

It conveys, without a doubt, the most Responsible Content on the matter that I have ever come across and is NOT "about" anatomy in general. You can google his name. You can probably find it at your local library if you don't want to purchase it. P.S. I've had 2 discectomies in the past - didn't know better, and........yeah, it's a really worthwhile read.

I hear you. It annoys the hell out of me when i go to bed. I lose like 1 or 2 hours of sleep every day because of it. I started to use my computer standing up. I put my computer on a tall desk. I do some lower back strength exercises too. It getting a little better.

the back can't be stopped with excercises or different positions
molar pain can't!!!!! unless you knock it out or go to the dentist

I've actually read his book and have followed his program for almost a year now. My back feels better now than it has since before I first injured it.
