we just watched this documentary today. Not so long ago, many brave people helped to bring unjust to light, and helped to change things for the better.

I always though soldiers on the battle field were brave, but these Freedom riders are at least100X more courageous.... willingly stepping into a lion's den un-armed and without defending themselves and willing to die to stand up for human dignity.

This should be required viewing in all schools. The treatment black people had to go through just to ride a bus...sickening! The federal gov't was/is despicable. They could've stepped in sooner, but wanted to allow the states to handle the situation. Not much has changed.

..I grew up on the side of 'The Freedom Riders"  . Fact: monstrous behavior today is going unjustified :| There is still no peace .. no accountability . Its just changed target .
