  • Robles did that on purpose.shame.........

  • That was definitely a foul but not the first time that occurred in Track and Field. However the fact that Liu Xiang is Chinese and Robles a black latino is not important! I do understand some Chinese sports fan being upset however because that was a hell of a closing kick Xiang put on to come from first to third in a race normal dominated by blacks! In closing it appeared Robles foul was unintentional but it did occur!

  • They rob and steal everywhere they go.

  • fucking_Dam_Black

  • Did anyone else notice that he knocked over Liu's hurdle as well? He knocked it over just in time for Liu to hit the thing and slow down.

  • WTF, 3 times? ! the grab was more intentional than an accident.

  • fucking dum nigga....

  • damn get over it, it was a racing accident, shit happens. Even David Oliver stated that it was uncalled for and is simply something that happens in the hurdles. stop behaving like Robles is a villain, his right arm always swings across like that. if the lanes had been reversed, the same thing may have happened, with Robles coming off worst. Robles himself was even thrown off balance. In such an intense race you dont have time to think about anything except getting over the hurdles. Get over it!

  • @jimmyg141 Watch the replay again. It was not an accident. Roberts intentionlly grabbed Liu Xiang's hand. It's a serious foul and it's agains the competition rule. And you can also see from the face of Roberts, he did notice his foul and feel regret about it. But he just want to win even by grabbing opponent's arm several times. What a hell.

  • grabbed his arm? WTF?

  • SHAME..and bullshit. liu is THEE real champ

  • so i would say that the grab was more intentional than an accident.

maybe he panicked or something. looks like robles fucked up. poor guy- but bringing another man down like that is just a real shame.

  • @MinuteOrMinute Agree. Robles need more lessons on athletic ethnics. Winning by bring other people down is a shame.

  • these guys are professionals and pros at what they do. robles totally knew what he was doing. you can also see that he tries to swipe at liu with an OPEN HAND twice before he makes a solid grab, whereas in the last hurdle he keeps a FIST formation. that open hand says it all. it is WEIRD for robles to change hand grip positions so rapidly in a singular run. when you run, you don't change hand grip positions that frequently. you usually stick with one.

  • Freeze the video at precisely 57 seconds. Now tell me, is that a natural arm position for a hurdler? Robles was grabbing Liu's wrist like they were BFF's.

Thank God for slo-mo replay...or he might have gotten away with it.

  • and Liu's face was like...what the hell?

  • he hits Liu Xiang's left hand two times....:0

  • ACCIDENT?!?!? ahhaha! Please don't insult common sense and your own intelligence. I invite you to see the following video, particularly the minute 2.59 and 3.03. And this does not count the second and final touch he made that unbalanced Liu. In this image, at 2.59 it is very clear Robles intention! again...don't insult your own intelligence!

Search this video "Liu Xiang and Dayron Robles in the 110m hurdles final 田径世锦赛罗伯斯拉拽刘翔"

  • Btw, if you guys didn't know, accidents are part of the disqualification....so no need to say that it was an accident which it clearly was, but an accident is also a disqualification.

  • It was an accident guys. Robles did deserve the DQ though. No question Xiang would've won the race, but hey, the lesson is not to put Robles and Xiang next to each other at the London Olympics.

  • Come on guys. Lets stop the insults and focus on the performance. It was an accident. Robles did not mean to hit him, it just happend. The result cuold have gone either way cos Liu was closing in to pass, but jason Richardson was also running a heck of a race and Robles finishes stong anyway. it was just unfortunate, They are all great hurdlers. I hope we see the same intensity minus the controversy next yaer at the olympics

  • watch the last hurdle, Robles's right knee across on Liu's hurdle....

  • Negro

  • 這就是體育啊。

  • Chinese Man won.

  • What an asshole this Robles.

  • I say it again, and anywhere. If you have previously seen Dayron Robles running, all his races are perfect. This was entirely accidental, after hitting that hurdle he lost balance and got too close to Liu, that's it! lets see who win next time with both of them away from each other. Dayron is still the Olimpic Champion, and he got the best time ever.

  • I have watched all the Videos of Robles, but the fact is he had never open his fingers while he swing his right arm, and also he didn't swing his right arm very far whlie his normal races.

but this time while he hit Liu, he even open his fingers tried to grab Liu, and his right arm swing as far as he could t Liu side , and also he was running too close to Liu's line , this fucking guy knows he was wrong that was whyy he even give Liu a hug after the race, how funny is him, he is a lier

  • CHINA WINS !!!!!

  • Fucking Robles! he is a lier

  • NIGGGGGGAAAAAA!! =D

  • shame cuba!!!!

  • How the Blacks seem to congregate with each other after the race, even if they're from different countries. Would it be out of order here to say that Richardson made a sort of "unconscious" attempt at holding the non-Black Liu Xiang back, so he or another "Brutha" could win? It's like the attempt at holding the Chinese runner back is like he's saying, "Ahm Black an dis is mah sport!" You could see that Liu Xiang didn't want any part of his hug.

  • @SpectraView1 Robles was the one that hit Liu not Richardson. Richardson was on the other end of the track so he couldn't have down anything to Liu.

  • @smada9711 I'm sorry, that's who I meant - Robles.

  • Comment removed

  • The first contact looked intentional. If you look at the slow mo replay front view Robles looked like he grabbed Liu's arm. I wonder if it David Oliver was right up there with them if Robels would have grabbed on to him too lol. This was suppose to be a great race with 12.87, 12.88 and 12.89 hurdlers but it was a flop!

  • fuck u all it was an accident

  • @dcb9882 you're the odd one out, douchbag.

  • @dcb9882 Really because for the first 5 or so hurdles his arms were pumping straight and then right after he knocks down the hurdle he looks as though his hand is cupped swinging for liu arm and he eventually finds it

  • @dcb9882 yeah its an accident why the guy got disqualified :)

  • the chinese need to get over there dishonor

  • FUCKING ASSHOLE!!

  • intentional. he did it on 2 of the jumps. felt the pressure then went back to his monkey behavior.

  • Liu Xiang has my support now.

  • LOL daegu needs to get his leg cut

  • The block is obviously intentional. Serves him right with disqualification. Sports authorities: please ban this runner from racing, and rethink how top runners should be placed in the lanes for future world matches.

  • Oh bullshit. He didn't hit him intentionally. If you notice , all the runners arms (Especially Lui's) are swinging in that fashion. I doubt Robles could even pay attention to Lui's arm as well as hurdle. When you hurdle, and lifting your left leg up, your right arm swings back for momentum. The only thing that would be questionable is the length they have between each other. THEN you might have a case, but the whole hand thing was definitely just bad luck.

  • @MasterxKenobi liu's arms didn't swung sideways. they we're going straight n back. unlike robles was doin fine in the beginning then started swinging sideways n hit liu on the arm twice, when he felt liu was about to pass him. robles had robbed liu's gold!!! point blank period!!! n what did u mean by saying especially liu's r swinging in that fashion??? my nigga WATCH DA RACE!!! LIU DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG!!!

  • @gangstalyrics504 First of all, don't call me your 'nigga'. Secondly, you never hurdle a day in your life so why would I argue with you?

  • he won stop talking shit,he won because he is a motherfucker bullet

  • @cubanpeopleful

    stfu dicksucker .

  • He didn't win. He gets second. And us British now get 3rd. Woooh

  • Is it jackie chan won here?

  • 刘翔是赢家。我为他感到不好。我对不起所有中国人。来自印度。

  • hold on you didnt show the other view where liu's knee hit it and robels foot didnt granite it would have it liu's knee didnt first

  • all you pro commie bastards should shut your mouths to say that a professional athlete on that level would intentionally hit another competitor is ignorant and blasphemous

  • Comment removed

  • i wonder what if Lui did that to Robles..i guess there might be sparks flying Lol

  • 只能说很遗憾 损人不利己 不过毕竟是竞技体育 刘翔真的很棒 很佩服他 他在我心中永远是最棒的!

  • lol at people saying he should banned for life fucking mugs...but yes he deserved to be disqualified

  • ROBLESAN>>>SHOW ME PAINT THE HOUSE>>>LOOK EYE>>>ALWAYS LOOK EYE>>>FOCUS ROBLESAN!!!

  • ridiculous! what the fuck !

  • 萝卜丝 我操你二大爷

  • Robles grab on to Xiang three times, the first he miss then the last two.....what a fucken cheater.....He should be band for life...I agree withe LunLugg....

  • @xwingldr - Liu lost his balance before the last hurdle because of the grab by Robles. He got hit on the last hurdle so hard that it pushed him back and Robles forward. I'd like to see you run full steam and jump a hurdle and have someone grab your arm in mid-air...and just think...you are nowhere near these athletes in speed and power...so you would look kinda ugly...sort of like an idiot.

  • @gatbeit LMAO

  • You're an idiot. Look at a complete video and watch Liu hit the last hurdle which slowed his momentum BEFORE Robles and Liu made contact. Liu should have won, but only if he cleared the last hurdle cleanly. He didn't and that is why he slowed, not because of the contact.

  • @xwingldr Check clearly, before the third touch, Rpbles has tried 3 times and the second time near the second last hurdle made Liu lost his balance and finally touched the last hurdle. Then the last grab by Robles entirely dragged him back. Don't judge if you didn't see through the whole story.

  • DAYRON ROBLES AND CUBA = EPIC INFERIORITY COMPLEX

  • @gatbeit y tu eres un perro envidioso, todo el mundo sabe q el campeon es Dairon Robles y sino preguntenle a Liu Xiang

  • @90101426414yoli - yeah right. I'm jealous and Robles is the true champion;...and Cuba is ranked number 1 as the world's largest economy...according to GDP of all things...Mercy, please...

  • Fucking Robles.

  • Dirty Cuban. Sham on you

  • Liu would have won had there been no contact ..... He was closing quickly, pulled even, THEN got hit twice and clearly would have continued to pull away!

  • uhhh he got silver...

  • I don't think Robles intentionally extended his reach. I saw another video which showed it at different angle. Even Liu extended his reach (but no contact with the player on his right) .....

  • He did touch him,.

  • liu could have easily fucking won the heat and robles not interfered...

  • misichuri what the shit you are talking about? Look at his grabs open your dawn eyes!

  • da fuck man.....

  • 旁述是那個國家的,我笑了

  • @hunghungkitty 听似西语

  • Fuck the nigga

  • Fuck the nigga

  • Robles did it by accident

i am a hurdler and this has happened too me so stop talking shit

  • @misichuriHe did TWO times!!Rules are rules. He IS DQ.Accident is when Robles lost balance n hit Liu.He had full control of his motion. This extra swinging of arms R obviously intentional.Robles is a TRUE Coward.Instead using all his power to dash to the finish line,he could not face losing n his cowardice inside him control him n swipe at Liu.Children SHALL know the face of a TRUE Coward.Robles lost EVERYTHING,his past hard efforts n glory!!Stupidity number 1,beside being Coward number 1

  • @UpNfamish2 misichuri is right, that happens a lot folks, Robles has lost and won against Liu before, for me it is inevitable close up my hand if I hit somebody's arm when I am running, it is a natural reaction. R closed up his hand after the first clash, which is contrary to the way he used to finish his race. For me it doesnt make sense thinking it was intentional, it would have being better using steroids ;)

  • @TheValdessir i agree with you

  • @UpNfamish2 if you would watch track you'd know that he swings his arms like that and steers to the left

and liu xang goes to his right even the commentors from universal sports say it

  • @misichuri Robles' right hand is OPEN!!He intentionally extended his reach to claw at Liu's arm!!Normally,he had a half closed right hand as he swung wide.Rules are meant to make sure fairness of the game.No matter what style Robles has for his running,he cannot be excused!!Having a culture of "being excused" is bad.No more excuses!!

  • @UpNfamish2 oye this accident was ment to be according to wat i said before even the universal sports commentors said it

  • fuck rob.....

    unfair

  • fuck rob.....

  • Liu Xiang is the clear CHAMPION in my book !

  • Robles deserves being disqualified because of his dirty deed. 值得取消他的金牌。刘翔,伦敦奥运加油!

  • what a dirty asshole. Robles should be banned for life. >:(

  • @lunlunqq i dont think he meant to do it...

  • @lunlunqq LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Liu Xang was running so close to robles, his arm was in Robles side.

  • @ChrisSmooveismyson ..wrong, Liu's left hand most part trying to avoid clash i think..& Liu just glanced at Robles without that *&^% word, which i know who else would :(

  • @lunlunqq wtf your an idiot, it was a little contact, ive seen elbows to the face in hurdles. ASIANS rarely win hurdles or sprints. As you can see robles got way ahead at the last 10 metre straight, liu was pretty much a do nothing athlete anyways with little to pretty much no placing.

  • @allarile260 Robles' foot was over Liu's hurdle on the last one. Robles's arm was wrestling with Liu who was being pushed back twice. You call it little touch? If Robles was doing so well in the last 10 meter that's only because he gained advantage of Liu's momentum in pushing Liu backwards resulted in Liu loosing so much speed and balance falls from leading to the third.

  • fuck you @lunlunqq he won because he deserved that,he work hard for it,you are the dirty asshole that nobody knows you, hater

  • @cubanpeopleful I've other analysis on the incident which indicates that he might not have done that on purpose. I was pretty angry when I first saw this and I apologize for my harsh words. However, even if he didn't do it on purpose, he certainly didn't "win it." Clearly Xiang was going to take the gold if not for Robles' mistakes. Robles got his gold medal taken away and rightfully so.

  • @lunlunqq fuck you,he won because he work hard for it,you are the dirty asshole, who nobody know you fuckin hater,

  • @lunlunqq Woah woah woah. How do you know it was intentional? Liu Xiang doesn't think it was. Get your facts before you post stupid comments.

  • @lunlunqq haha...its obvious it was an accident. If you notice on other videos, Robles starts off the far side of the lane since he always swings his arm like that (go back and look at other videos). In this race Robles hits a hurdle hard swerves to the middle of the lane and then hits Liu's arm. Talk about overreacting biased opinion on your part

  • @blindguardian187

bullshit !it was not an accident, Could u see Robels reached his right arm as longer as he could and also open his fingers to grab Liu , open your eyes and watch carefully

  • @Mrleo19961996 what nationality are you? I'm not cuban nor chinese so not trying to be biased. The hurdle right before he hits Liu he hits the hurdle and swerves towards Liu. Tell me that didn't happen. Did he swing his arm further on that hurdle? maybe, but to me, hitting the prior hurdle caused him to be off balance..Now, i will admit that Liu definitely handled this incident with much more class than Robles, but i still say contact was accidental

  • @blindguardian187 I consider myself a very level minded Chinese. If Liu Xiang had not been Chinese, I would still say Robles had malice. It looked very obvious. In that split second Liu turned round and looked at Robles obviously pissed. I am sure he has the same intuition as many of us has. The contact happened to many times to be called an accident.

  • @langnv999 you may be right, no one here knows for sure....but my opinion is based off the fact that the contact all happened after Robles hit that hurdle which caused him to swerve towards Lui. Robles armswing has always been fairly wide which is why he normally hurdles on the far left of the hurdle. contact has always been a sport which contact does happen and I would say 90% of the time its accidental....was it in this case?? only Robles knows

  • @blindguardian187 you should notice one point, Robles was close to the side of Oliver in first 7 hurdles , but in the last 3 hurdles, he changed his position to the side near Liu. So I don't believe it is an accident for Robles...

  • @MrSunhyang exactly, that was my point. Robles hit the hurdle after the 7th which cause him to go off balance and to move towards lui. The reason he normally stays on that far side is because his arm swing does swing to the side. Anyways, NO ONE (including myslef) here knows for sure his intention, we can all just state out opinions, and mine is that is was an accident...and hurdles is a sport that accidents and contact is fairly common

  • @lunlunqq dayron dont have the intention to do that thatwas accidentally!

  • @51bluetiger1 are you blind or are you moron?

  • @JeanJacqueG none of two i am just saying thts was accidenttaly and whatch out your language i dont offend you

  • Doesn't look like it was intentional. Nevertheless, he was rightfully disqualified.

As for Liu Xiang, I do feel for him. Not certain he could have held the lead down the final straight, however, he should had had the opportunity.

  • so unfair!!!

  • Robles is an a**hole.

  • 古巴那个太没职业道德了
