Hey everyone i am an 11 year old dj and i mix a lot of rap, house and electronic music and if u would stop by my channel that would be great. Thank you
@headset93 Go into settings and go to playback and there will be a knob that says braking the more to the right you turn it the longer the song takes to stop when you press pause
@headset93 Not sure if the NS6 works the same, but when you turn on an FX without playing the song, the FX stays in stand-by until you play the song, which in turn plays the FX at the same time, so maybe that's how he did it.
hello sir. i just wanna ask, how can i attach the Numark Mixtrack PRO to a mixer (Behringer PMP6000) What type of cables do I need to purchase and where should I plug it ?! thank you and god bless!
@susedianinso I dont think he is willing to send you a long list, but at our club we sertentliy play alot of house, pop and dubstep. You can dj with all most every ganre if your good, hardstyle or hardcore is an easy ganre for beginners to play with. Sorry if i misunderstood what you ment :)
@madcobra1313 pretty sure it is all record conrol man, just strait practice practice practice... im in same sitch, i want that sound just so hard to make it happen, might be wrong tho, if anyone knows more, hopefully we get a comment
@madcobra1313 type in google: serato scratch sentence 4shared. Better if you buy a vinyl from thudrumble records and grab it there, only 13 bux for their old records, plenty on ebay, plenty on google shopping. If you're dying for it, Super Seal will come to the rescue!
yo how is he moving the crossfader to the deck 2, while scratching on deck 2...? wudnt he have to have the deck he is scratching on on the opposite of that he is pushing the fader to?
@DubBassRecords He reversed the channels. Basically, the X-fader all the way to the right, the left deck is on and right deck is off, and vice-versa. Some scratch DJ's (especially from the UK, however, there's quite a few in the US who do it too) prefer to reverse the channels to better suit their scratching style.
@mistaredd100 double x stand (a little more sturdier) with a platform on top. and ns6 & mac(plus phone) sits on top of the platform. numark sticker applied to the x-stand lol.
@GoonzLA1KC NS7, no doubt. The moving platters on the NS7 make all the difference in the world for scratching. The NS6 is one of the best units for scratching with a non-moving platter.
@SWAGERKID14 i have an ns6, and it took me a while to figure out. beside the slope knob which you can change around, there are 2 buttons, one on each side. if you just want fading, like hes doing, then you can turn both of these OFF. (but if you want the song to restart, and then switch on right, then you need to touch the crossfader on the left of the crossfader to restart it, which seems to be your problem. )
@SWAGERKID14 You probably are bringing your fingers too close to the turn tables with the scratch on. It will pick up your hands if they get close.... even without touching them. As I'm sure you notice, when you have the scratch on and you touch the tables, the music stops.
to stop the job wheels from reacting to your hand over it you first have to calibrate them before each use, that just means touching each wheel in afew spots
My NS6 stops scratching after I start scratching for a while. It even stops the track if I hover my hand over the jog wheel. Im starting to get disappointed with my unit. Plus I have to reboot my computer each time for my hardware to be recognized. :(
Quick question--- is the NS6 compatible with "tractor scratch pro 2" time-coded vinyl software ??

@DunLan when you say go into settings, do you mean directly on the NS6 or in the Serato software (I use VDJ Pro)?
Thanks!
