Living in a townhouse. Above my bedroom is a roommates bathroom, he has a clogged sink, and left the water dripping. Which turned out to be a flooded bathroom, and the water leaked through the floor, into my celling and water leaked all over. Now i have a few water stains, and not sure if there is a bubble or not. Can this be something we can fix ourselves?
@theone6905 Cut out a section of the drywall on the ceiling and replace it. You'll need to tape and mud it, as well as match the textured surface. There are popcorn ceiling products on the market that you can brush or roll on. If the ceiling is smooth, you can simply prime and paint it after you tape and mud the drywall seams.
PVC will work fine in a concrete slab. I've personally burried PVC in a basement slab for a drain system and in 10 years I've never had an issue. If you are going to bury PVC in concrete where the pipe may freeze than I would suggest wrapping it in some type of plastic coated insulation sleeving to help prevent freezing. In regards to PVC sold at Home Depot, I doubt they're selling a lower grade PVC.
i made a mistake and didn't take notice of which wires were connected and both wires were black so my question is which wire connects to the black and which to the white?

I am replacing cast iron drains with PVC. Most of the work is under a concrete slab .Can I use the PVC sold at a home depot??

Having a hard time soldering one joint. Didn"t have trouble with any others ! What could be the problem?

Make sure the joint is clean, properly fluxed and heated well before applying the solder to the joint.
