@vtekmonstah I love Ticheli! I actually played timpani on the Canadian Premiere of Angels in the Architecture conducted by Ticheli! I think my favourite piece I've done so far is the Planets Suite by Holst.

@vtekmonstah Yeah! I love it. The brass is awesome in that one. The original orchestration has some amazing timpani stuff too. It requires two players and 7 drums! I think my favourite movement is Saturn - The Bringer of Old Age (although it is less known). There's one part where the whole band is just wailing and the trombones sound SOO EPIC! Then it ends with a nice Major 7th chord which is supposed to represent someone's soul rising to heaven after death. Absolutely stunning.

@vtekmonstah It's said that Holst hated that piece though. He thought it was one of his worst works. We are our own worst critics I suppose.

She is a daylight not a ginger, because she has virtually no freckles. My question is what is your GPA? My GPA is 5.9 but I was informed that in Boston they still use the college standard of measuring one's GPA which is the 4.0 system.

@quadrilasisi i do have freckles! they're just hard to see because they're kinda light and i wear makeup :P yeah we still use the 4.0 system, i'd guess mine might be around 3.4?
