WoW has fantastic graphics imo ok not from a technical point but it's a work of art. In WoW I can play games like Crysis and Farcry 2 and still come back to WoW and it's pleasing on the eyes.
These are on the ptr test server and they look great. The best is the shadows from the buildings and anything that moves like the lifts in thunderbluff. :)
I just read that this feature is still in the experimental stage, so Im guessing they forgot to take out the lame little circle shadow when the implemented the detailed one...Hope that gives you some form of answer Makaroid.

Thats the highest setting. You can change it from 0 to 6.
