Why not ask your priest to do so...yeah right dude wake up, I already have, he refuses, I asked the Bishop he thinks we're mad. No one seems to care about our situation so we just have to sit down and stuff the guitar gathering every Sunday.
@priest008 Sorry to hear that, been there, done that. But it comes a moment that you cannot digest the silliness anymore. I stopped going to church altogether, just praying at home. Thank God, there was a SSPX parish at 1 hour from here, hesitant at first and alert, I came to know the Mass of the ages, and there is no comparison among them . No turning back to the novus disorder for me , friend, they claim they are the same, but no way in this world!!
Thank you for the vid. I particularly appreciated the presence of a picture of the italian priest don Alberto Secci: a great man and a holy alter Christus.
I have a few questions. Do you believe that the Novus Ordo Mass is valid? Can it please God? Can you receive grace from it? Can you attend it and fullfill you Sunday/Holyday obligations? I say "yes" to all those questions, but I just want your honest opinion on what you think about those topics. I like the Ordinary Form of the Mass (ones that don't have abuses in them) but I still like to attend Latin Tridentine Masses when I can. Thank God for the FSSP for making it available to us.
@HomeSkillet489 Yes! Thank God for the FSSP! But, also, thank God for Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre for sacrificing himself in consecrating those four bishops in 1988 that resulted in Pope John Paul II writing the Motu Proprio "Ecclesia Dei" and subsequently creating the FSSP. For, without those episcopal consecrations in 1988, Pope John Paul II would have had no need to write "Ecclesia Dei" and the FSSP would not have been created in the first place! Maybe the end does justify the means.....
I have three things I wish to opine. First, I must disagree with the H.F. and other who wish to classify the TLM as extraordinary. I find it to be the Ordinary Form of the Mass and the N.O as the Extraordinary. Second, I think it has been established that the N.O was established having the use of Protestant ministers as a guide. In some way, Protestant were there in the forming of the N.O. And finally, talking a Bp, he told me of the VAST disobedience to the Pope and his M.P here in America.
I went to my first sung Tridentine Mass today in Madrid. It's had such a big effect on me, I've never experienced anything so beautifully Catholic is all my life.

Yes, let us thank God for him. I'm not an SSPX'er and I don't endorse everything they say, but I do thank God for his actions.

I believe there was a picture at 0:36 of the shrine of the most Blessed Sacrament, when was that mass?

@pj10000003...No, it's not ironic. You just twist my words completely making it sound completely different than what I wrote.

Ironic. Sgal88 disagrees with the Holy Father regarding the Liturgy, then criticizes the Bishops for doing the same thing.

Translated from the Greek Liturgy in 210AD? I had no idea. Source? Also, did you make this video?
