  • I just noticed the singer from The Marz Volta and the singer from Coheed and Cambria sound soooo similar. They should do a dide project together

  • im a huge fan but i have two question i would like to see answered.

what does he mean by no one runs faster than you eat?

also "mother may i" - Il leave the light on to turn your mother off?

    thanks

  • 5:18 - 5:48 Speaks volumes to me. Reminds me that I WOULD give up my last night for the love of my life.

  • 4:18 is my favorite part, it's amazing.

  • Comment removed

  • my copy of that song and yours both have the duration of 7:28 . but i don't know why is the ending of mine kinda different, it's kind of a fade out in the end

  • Seriously this song is so catchy (not that they don't have a ton of these insanely awesome hits...). I hear it when I'm asleep sometimes & its always in one of my favorite epic beautiful dreams.

  • Coheed and Cambria = Perfection

  • Excellent

  • great overall song...just keeps goin...LOVE IT muthafuckas

  • HEY I GOT MONEY WAT DO YALL GOT?

  • @davidtorres74 I got coheed and cambria thats all I need to live the rest of my life with

  • @dtorres21013 so you seriously expect people to believe you make 250k yet you have nothing better to do with your time than to troll youtube comments. I guess online you can be who you wanna be, but you eventually have to come back to reality.

  • @dtorres21013 you can't even spell, you silly troll.

  • @dtorres21013 what the hell is your problem a-hole go to hell

  • Wow gay music hope ya know the singer is bisexaul no joke

  • @dtorres21013 You wouldn't know good music if it bit you in the ass, because this song and the rest of the Willing Well songs are fucking amazing. Coheed and Cambria is an amazing band.

  • @dtorres21013 who gives a shit. bisexuality for the win.

  • @dtorres21013 Coheed & Cambria=3rd greatest musicians in the world. Pink Floyd=Greatest musicians in the world. Coheed has a lot of references towards Pink Floyd in their music. As well as references to Zepelin and Rush. They appreciate music, and the great music they were brought up on. The lyrics, are by far the most facinating thing about them, because it is all based on a mass story. You try doing that torres...if you succeed, then you have a right to comment on Coheed's music. You fuck.

  • @avenged4life100 Sooo many things are wrong about what you just said there. 3rd greatest in the world? according what standard? They are BETTER musicians than both of those bands, especially with Chris Penne in the band. Easily, hands down, no contest. Robert Plant is annoying sounding, Jimmy Page is decent but not by any means untouchable, Claudio said Rush really isn't a very big influence, and I hear no Pink Floyd in this music. Floyd is more textural, not pure energetic rock music.

  • No one runs faster than you can, no one runs fastteeerrr than youuu.

no one runs faster than you eaaaaatttt.

  • the lyrics don't match.

  • for some reason i dont think the lyrics match the beat it sounds to happy for these dark lyrics

  • God this is a good song

  • I'll always love the songs with the jam at the end a little more. the crowing, light and the glass, neverender...

  • I was singing "you'll burn in hell while they're digging you out" to myself one day and get some strange looks from people around me.

  • At the moment, this is my favorite C&C song. I don't know why but I can't stop listening it. Not that I'm complaining of course. ;) As soon as I finish some other comics I'm gonna start reading their's.

  • This has to be the most underrated band of all time.

  • @thedoomclock no dude their not the most of all time....Circa Survive and Interpol are also really really underrated

  • @M16KING82 its funny..why does he have more likes than you then?

  • @tylergbass I don't care about likes. All I wanted to do is comment.

  • @M16KING82 all you wanted to do was trololololololol

  • @tylergbass I believe you mean troll.

  • @thedoomclock them or tickle me pink

  • @thedoomclock fav. song, fav. record...wrong producer.....this band is not underrated at all by the way

  • @betoleal81 i dont think you even know what underrated means

  • No one runs faster than I eat

  • /yaaaarhg this has to be a pirate song!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No one runs faster than you can , no one runs faster than you! No one runs faster than you eat! <3

  • I love this song (As i do all of Coheed, as you can probably tell by my name. Which if you get the reference you get a cookie) I almost cried when my Good Apollo: Volume 1 Cd got scratched and this song got messed up :(

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx but why would they go ahead and make something in that way? Coheed's songs are not "poppy" at least not in the sense of pop music. The music in this song at the begining is decieving giving the lyrics. That is an popular sound choice for "raging psychotic". It sounds to me as if the character in this story is trying to run away from himself, but his craziness just takes over wins in the end... :P thats why thses songs are epic they tell stories within the proggression

  • its a lil bit alien ant farm...yea like it.....sold

  • coheed and cambria is the most amazing epic band there music is mesmerizing and i cant get it out of my head ill never get tired of listening to coheed

  • One boy will be eating his way back home.

  • Great song. Really listen to the worlds. Great and creepy meanings.

  • 4:50 onwards is the best part

  • @lukedoherty9494 nope, 0:01 on is the best, hands down

  • Elmer Fud: "wun wittle wabbit. go hide in da bwades of dat gwass. wun wabbit wun!

  • This is my fave Coheed song :)

  • this is their best song by far, i love it so much

  • Coheed and Cambria don't write music

They make concentrated awesomeness that they put on CDs

  • @TheGoldenKing789 Hmm weak. But YES!

  • With your last breath of air

As the Earth comes trembling down

Would give her this last night

    The love of your life

No one runs faster than you can

No one runs faster than you

No one runs faster than you eat

I could listen to that part ALL DAY

NO wait, I could listen to this entire song ALL DAY

3:00 - 3:20 is also one of my favorite sections

  • @Enformata dude i agree this is the absolute BEST part of the song i could listen to this shit for hours!!!!!

  • anyone going to see them this october? i know i am. :)

  • They don't make speakers loud enough for this kind of music.

  • what is the font you use for the description at the beginning of the video??

  • Ahhhh!! YES THE HELL TRIGGER! Someone else realizes this.... (i mean I'm sure a lot of people do)

My favorite example by far is Al THe Killer. I love how it sounds like a pop love song but hes killing all the white girls/ This band is tooo great.

  • Coheed fucking speaks to me man. I love this band.

  • prog rock at its finest

  • i just saw coheed live and it was the best experience i have ever had in my life it was so great and when claudio played the guitar with his mouth it just got better and better coheed and cambria is the best band ever

  • 5:20 - the end = my favorite part of the song.

  • ."As father told son in the make of his final escape

Should all good boys die with God at their side,

At the grace of his gates?

No, the Robot holds none with the mind

    And a heart to comply

Then I will disguise and grieve of those dead

    When I'm given the time"

You can't compare this to YOTBR or NWFT

  • I can't connect to the song, but I love it sooo much anyway

  • Those lyrics in the description are wrong...

    EXAMPLE:

From pressure to pain I wish to stay awake

In the measure I test with your love for me

    TO SHOUT against these walls

With hope that one will break FREE

    So hear me...

  • why is it that everyone with a fro is an awsome singer

  • it sounds to me more like "what is this shit/that you keep telling me" i could be wrong otherwise i love the lyrics gj at them and this is probably my favorite c&c song

  • @Kyuubinuyasha i think the first time is "what is this that you keep telling me?" and the second time is "what is this shit you keep selling me?"

  • wow this song is so much better acoustic

  • can listen to the begin part a million times over without getting bored of it

  • one of the songs that got me into coheed. i am SO GLAD that i found these guys, almost perfect music, some of yotbr and some of sstb being the exceptions to perfection

  • This is easily my favorite song...and I can't explain why. Claudio's voice is so..unique, there's a captivating draw.

That, and once you read their lyrics, they take you in. There's something more to their lyrics than just screaming, singing, and whatnot.

  • @slash0777 this guy gets it, thats exactly why coheed is so good, there poppy songs are for ironic purposes, most of the lryics in those songs are actually pretty dark so claudio decided to make a dark song sound poppy cuz thats a different approach and makin a dark song sound poppy is ironic. also i agree that they a lot of sick riffs

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx dark songs??? poppy??? its called progressive rock!!! and their based on their comic sagas!!!

  • @DikkiSeamen Read the comics than tell me if it has a dark story line. I want to know the comic story. I havent been able to get my hands on one.

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx INCREDIBLY dark! at least for many of them. Especially if you've read The Amory Wars graphic novels/comics. That shit is ridiculously dark from like the 5th page in.

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx Your points are spot on, but you are seriously horrible at spelling, grammar, and articulating your thoughts. Yes, it's poppy yet dark. We get it. Thank you. Oh, and sorry for being a pain in the ass. Having a bad day. Thanks for all the awesome uploads!

  • @Spazmologist i haate bitches like you that complain about spelling and grammar on youtube! you know what! FUCK YOU! AND FUCK EVERY OTHER GRAMMAR NAZI! its a fucking comment on a video! who gives a shit about the grammar and spelling as long as they get their fucking point across! SO, DO YOU GET MY FUCKING POINT? CATCH MY FUCKING DRIFT?! FUCK YOU! THIS ISNT AN ESSAY, THIS ISNT YOUR ENGLISH CLASS! ITS THE INTERNET BITCH! WHERE I CAN FUCK UP WORDS IF I WANT TO!

  • @colton12344321 Holy fucking shit chill the fuck out! I apologized for it in the original comment and said I was having a bad day. I also complimented xxTheHellTriggerxx and thanked him for all the uploads. I even subscribed to his channel. Furthermore, if he had a huge problem with it, he could have told me so. So really you probably could have said nothing and everything would be exactly the same right now. By the way, you went off soo much i was laughing my ass off hahahaha. Dumbass.

  • @Spazmologist you may think your hot shit at english but you obviously didnt catch the sarcasm.

  • @colton12344321 ---- Also @Spazmologist

We are ALL children of the Fence! How could such hatefulness be spewed while the voice of 10,000 men rips our faces off?

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx For a second I thought you said there poopy songs. :P

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx If it were just this one song that sounded poppy you might have had a point, but I think they just utilize what they want from it and mesh it so well that it no longer matters. Look at their older albums, they all had sort of poppy influences.

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx is that really what claudio did?

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx also why would you try to make a dark song "poppy" when they have the song Al the Killer?

  • Every album has a different style to it.

I personally love all of it.

  • The first part sounds like it could be the theme song to a sitcom. Still an awesome song and probably my favorite album by them.

  • hmm....first vocal cover may be this song....who knows ^^

  • I'd listen! :D

  • can't wait for there new album

  • @mexicannin their new album is no world for tomorrow it came out a while now, im not sure they will be recording another album as a group anymore :( altho claudio did some sick solo shit

  • @srsrsr7000 actually they have a ne album coming out soon "year of the black rainbow"

  • Good apollo 4 is my fav... most epic songs and full cd. The willing well series and the velorium camper series are the best. Time stands still when this cd plays.

  • willing wells yes,velourium,ehh...1 and 3 are nice, but i prefer ww and tec so much more :P

  • @IAmTheWar Cuz i asked what u like. lol just buggin. Good for u!?!

  • indeed! coheeds good for the ears, and soul! :D

  • @chpub1 that song is spelled right, not when you typed it, but the actual version. And Bohemian Rhapsody pwns, Claudio agrees.

  • nice lol i couldnt have said it better.

  • im gonna get so hated on for this *sigh* oh well :O

I cannot STAND the first 2 minutes of this song....WAY too upbeat for me D: BUT! the next 5 minutes(especially the part right after and the ending) are AMAZING

but i gotta admit, the whole "What is this shit you keep selling me" part makes me giggle xD

  • @IAmTheWar you do know that Coheed does mostly pop rock style songs right?

  • not really, a lot of it isnt pop at all, listen to there 1st and 2nd album, its not really poppy, very hard actually

  • @TROXURSOX

Time Consumer, God Send Conspirator, Junesong Provision, IRO-Bot, A Favor House Atlantic, Blood Red Summer, Faint of Hearts, Three Evils, Always and Never, The Writing Writer, Crossing the Frame, Mother May I, Ten Speed, Once Upon Your Dead Body, Wake Up, The Suffering, Erica Court, Willing Well 1-2-3 Feathers, Justice in Murder, Radio Bye Bye, Running Free, The Hound, Mother Superior. all very pop rock esque or just plain pop rock.

  • Some of those sounded poppy, yes. But most, no. What makes their music not "hard?" Their main form of vocals not being in scream form? His voice not adding enough heat for ya?

They have some sick riffs, with brutal lyricism to match. There are some exceptions, but I feel that most of their upbeat songs use that sound for ironic purposes.

  • yay

  • Bought the neverender DVD's, have all the comics and have all the CD's.

    Claudio kicks ass.

  • @DarthBelda where can i buy any Coheed and Cambria comic? I have searched high and low to find one. I dont trust Ebay so I havent checked there and dont plan to. If you can help tell me how you get your maybe it can give me some ideas. Thanks

  • @WaffleFox96 The comics are out of print. Only way to get them are to eBay or find them at a comic store. : (

  • @DarthBelda well, aren't you cool shit

  • @whathelephant1251 I'm cool but I'm not shit. That'd be you for purposely seeking confrontation on youtube. ^ ^

  • @whathelephant1251 why the fuck do u feel the need to be a dick? hes just showing his support for a terrific band. so fuck off nigger

  • 99th person to rate the song

    5 starssss

fuckin LOVE the willing well series

  • this album is probably my least favorite. first being second stage the in keeping secrets the volume two then this one. i cant wait till APRIL! cuz thats when Cladio says the Prolouge Album comes out!

  • @dashguitar

This is also my least favorite D:

    NWFT

    SSTB

    IKSSE3

    FFTtEoM

  • How do you put NWFT over SSTB or IKSSE : 3? You must be a newer Coheed fan

  • since 2 years ago :O dont get me wrong, theres a bunch of songs i love on both albums, time consumer, delirium trigger, the crowing, cuts marked in the march of men,to name 4 xD

Every single song on nwft(imo) is amazing :O,all their albums have songs that are good or great...but all the others have songs that i dont particularly like :O

  • i'm a newer coheed fan but SSTB is by far my favorite.

  • I personally prefer the later albums because of the style of the music is more progressive rock.

  • I agree, I still absolutly loveeee the older albums, but the later albums are more my style of music.

    This song is epic ^_^

  • co&ca forever... and stop arguing lol

  • whats up with the thubs dowb shit look its and opinion christ I like all of coheed and cambrias music but my taste is to some of the newer music like shit why dont we just critisize everyb ones opnion much

  • This song is badass.

  • in my opinion im not a big fan of the older albums ther new albums are really good tho any one else?

  • nope :P not true a friend told me about it :P

  • Well whatever. I don't see why people don't like the old stuff but do like the new.

  • The first album is a bit harder to get into. It doesn't carry most of the effects of the later albums, the lyrics are raw and very hard to follow without knowing the story, and just feel like a different style. Still great, mind you, but it's easy to find a split between the first album and the later 3.

  • I was introduced Coheed by a concert they did with Linkin Park. The songs I got were Blood Red Summer, No World for Tomorrow, Welcome Home, and Everything Evil. That wasn't the order, but thats what I got. Everything Evil and Blood Red Summer didn't feel any different than No World for Tomorrow or Welcome Home. And I witnessed them in person.

Though you may be right for other people, it hasn't been like that at all to me.

  • ok i understand that but the reason they dont use as much effects as they do now is because their albums tell a story and effects just didnt fit how Cladio wrote the story cuz the music isnt just random it all is part of the story and they all coenside with eachother. and about the lyrics. i think they are all hard to follow unless you know the story! lol

  • I dont think what effects they use in their songs justify the situation the song is based on in the story. The fact that they use more effects on newer songs and adding them to older songs is so playing them live has a fuller effect than the album versions.

And honestly I prefer a chorus of voices to describe the feeling of the situation, rather than a cheap sound board effect of a high pitched whine going up and down.

    Voices > Sound effects

  • No?

  • Yeah right Second Stage Turbine Blade is eaisly their best album.

  • Best or not, it was hardly the point of what I said. Compare the first album to the second album. The altered tone is there. And I'll still say the writing for the later albums was better in portraying a message even if you couldn't make a story by a string of lyrics.

  • *every* album is their best album

  • this song is great all around and it progresses from the get go. theyve always done that. even through the comics. thats what makes them one of the greatest bands ever. how its all based on a story.

  • Couldn't agree more.

  • yeah, i'd have to agree with terry boy, that's where things start to get good....lol

  • my favorite part of the song starts at 5:49

  • my favourate part starts at 2:21

  • me 2 thats like, one of the best coheed moments ever

  • Comment removed

  • theres different levels of that?

  • my favorite ice cream flavor is roast beef

  • LOL

  • If you say so.

  • Believe what you will. You apparently need more convincing than I do.

  • Your comments are far more pejorative than mine. I was listening because it was recommended, and after listening I made an observation. It wasn't an insulting one, and I took care to point that out. So, why are you angry? Because someone isn't validating your personal choices?

  • I'm confused. I'm arrogant because I don't enjoy this music?

  • well now it seems i have a hater in my midsts.

  • Was that in response to my comment? If you look carefully, you'll see that no mentions of ill-will were made in my observation. It was merely that, an observation. Just because Coheed & Cambria do not have thematic linking does not make them inferior music, that would be dependent upon one's standards. My standards find the group outside of my tastes, but that by far isn't an attempted insult on my part.

  • but you are still knocking the progressiveness of co&ca. it doesn't have to have 'thematic linking' . it still progresses. so try not to knock something you don't know everything about, coheed progresses through the albums aswell as their songs.

but even if it wasn't an insult, people have passion and will defend what they think is right in whatever way they can.

  • being articulate gets you nowhere on youtube

  • lmfao yea thei song is soooo fuckong amazing when you high coheeds make me jizz in my pants when im high

  • hot

  • Yes, they sound good, but Claudio is the major creative force behind the music.

    Still whole band's great.
