Walkin is the $11.3 trillion dollar figure assets minus liabilities or just assets? I read CAFR has around $50 trillion in assets equally divided amongst federal, state, and local levels. I also read that Freddie and Fannie mac invested the bulk of this money thus the government bail out. Either way its a scam however you look at it.

The last plan gave Paulson unlimited discretion to use the money for bailing out the banks and for "other purposes." Why would a senator vote for a bill that includes this wordage? Just say no to the credit that they are offering. Whatever they are taxing, avoid it. Food? Grow your own. Water? Harvest your own. Gas? Go solar? House? Families join together. Let your house foreclose and move in with family. Add on to one house with private wings for each family unit. Divest your money.
