  • LOVE IT!!!

  • Sade has never wanted to work with any hip-hop artist other than Jay-Z, so clearly, he belongs. Stop hating and enjoy the music lol

  • This is really just a remix with Jay-z adding a verse. It's not really a collaboration or duet where Jay-z and Sade worked on a song together. Sade has several official remixes and this is just another. It was her choice so she must've respected Jay-z as an artist.

I like the words he added but not this remix; I like the album version better.

  • I just dont like how EVERYTHING as to have hip-hop 'swag' in it. I didnt think it would happen to SADE to and it did. I'm disappointed.

  • I am very surprised by this collaboration because in my estimation Sade and her creative outputs are stratospheric compared to Jay Zs 'noise'

  • *Correction last year

  • I swear you people are dumbasses saying jay z shouldn't be on this until this year sade has never ask someone else to be feature on her music and the one person she asks is jay because she personally requested him

  • jay verse on this was perfect this is why he is my all time fav rapper

  • @mistuhright89 thats because 40 made the beat. That dudes music is toxic no matter whos on the track

  • I love Sade and I like Jay Z music. However, I don't think the two types of sentiments they create individually goes well together like in this song. After you're settled and mellow with Sade Jay Z seems out of place and vice-versa. Sade I love you. You always have something great to say and express it beautifully.

  • man i wish jay z wasnt on this song, she has to not come across to conceited like i wont work with him, i guess the album company put this together

  • Please. Rap never can live up to Sade's sound and if it could, it'd be Jay Z NOT Drake....my opinion.

  • @ohhlinny006 so go listen to something else. FOH. This song is fire. I just wish Drake would've hopped on this. Don't get me wrong Jay murdered this track but this is more a Drake feel. He would've killed this.

  • @sag2007ama That's how you know a good song from a passing fad...Your in sync/ Rhythm because you feel the beat from within

  • #lovemovement rockin'

  • ew this song sound sso plain.

  • I like it but they should have kept more of the original beat IMO.

  • I do not like it. It was just fine in it's original version.

  • I went to see her live dam that is one beautiful woman.

  • i've never been a fan of hip-hop/rap but all that aside, this is very creative makes a masterpiece better

  • amazing remix by Noah 40 Shebib (Drake's producer), that guy is genuis!

  • If you like Sade check out my new video "Cries of Forgiveness" its somewhat similar to this song, except mine has a sample from Sade's "Pearls." The video was all shot in HD and im just looking for some feedback. Check it out on my channel and let me know what you think. Thanks

  • HOTHOTHOT - I SAW HER IN MIAMI LIVE - GIRL U ROCK - LOVE U -

  • Only if there were a LOVE button

  • @mohnzia GOOD ONE

  • one of my favorite songs

  • Drake producer noah "40" made this beat .hella sick nd ilove sade !

  • I'm a huge fan of Sade and Jay Z, This is a great remix! :) Thanks for posting!

  • @karaloca lol My IPhone Changed The spelling, Dont Hate Just live your life

  • one word . GOOSEBUMPS

  • Is this an official remix?

  • 1:23 that mix is saying 666

  • @Hurrikane it was the tag of Dj triple X

  • "The door's always open but our window is closed".

"So baby no moon and sky, got a beautiful Sun (/Son)"

Not a big fan of Jay Z either, but thess sentences sold it to me.

Anyway, Please, the least you can do while you point out someone's lack of creativity is to show some yourself.

  • World of JZ......

Friend - What you doing this week bro?

JZ - Remixing Sade, gonna add some "huhu's" " ahahs" and some "yeahyeahs".

Friend - Nice bro, what you doing next week?

JZ - Well same again, but this time on a MIA record.

    Friend - Real creative.

Fuck off JZ, make an effort. I bet you don't even say those "ahahs" anymore, you just press a key on a keyboard. This is sade scraping her barrel, 30 years and this is the crappest thing she's ever done. JZ fans stop making this dick rich.

  • @karaloca shut up you dont make since

  • @RossMane95 Now thats funny, I don't make "since"?

I think you mean 'sense' but 'since' you're thick as fuck, I don't suppose it matters.

  • ***NOPE! I don't need SADE on a remix, in a Colab, duetted up..NOTHING.. I just love her alone, doing her thing all by herself

  • Sigh..... AMAZING SONG!!!

  • this song is a mastermind from the beat to the voice , lyrics , & swagg

  • Childish Gambino would have hooked this song up!

  • Honestly Jay-Z did nothing for this song. Useless remix! She was right for not wanting to work with him in the first place.

  • i think NAs wouldve done a better job on here n his voice would have mended better with this remix

  • SADE IS TWO. just look at her eyes. SADE R.U.L.E.S. FORGEVER. NEVER EVER FORGET.

  • @pariah247 she asked him to make a verse for the song he didn't just insert himself into it, listen to the lyrics, he's the male role she's singing about, it pretty much completes the song.

  • this song sends chills down my spine its unforgettable like if u feel the same

  • I loved this song. Sade demonstrated clearly why she is a master wordsmith and she has one of the fiercest bands, live or in the studio, ever. As soon as Jay-Z step in the totally musical experience dropped from brilliant to dribble. I've got the untampered with version and will play it over and over and over again. Narrow minded Rap purists enjoy this...........................

  • @rockinspiritphoto

Hey! I have to agree with you! I love and live Hip Hop but Jay-Z totally ruined this one.. Tho I enjoy the beat but Jay -Z part needs to be cut out..

    The original is better..no doubt..

  • @Jamiseone

you obviously don't recognize the musical art put into this by collaborating jay z into the song... I can't imagine anyone else being put in here, I would agree with you if his lyrics were off from the topic. That's the worst when ppl remix a silent type solo song and ruin it with off-topic lyrics... but jay left the song with the same meaning it was originally intended for... I guess we have opposing feelings and intake on this.

  • @Jamiseone / Thanks for your words of approval. Those who follow Jay-Z love it not matter what. Those who love Sade follow the songtress love her no matter what. Fact it, Sade, like Maxwell, re-surfaced after ten years with a release which demonstrated how awesome a talent she is and she topped the charts, SOLDIER OF LOVE is a classic creation.

  • @rockinspiritphoto Agreed 100%!!! I respect rap as a potential means of musical expression and all, but it annoys me to no end when rappers merely insert themselves over an already written song and call it a "collaboration." The hooks, lyrics, and genuine soul of this song (*written* by Sade) are what drive it, not JZ's out of place, monotone rapping. He adds nothing musically to the experience, but I'm sure enough of his fans will bestow praise on him merely for being in the song.

  • @pariah247 For my part, i don't think both songs should be compared (except for the lyrics unchanged).

Yes, it might be more accurate to say that it is a Remix more than a Collaboration (even if Sade greenlighted the project), but the main material has been renovated and matchs with Jay-Z lyrics that's been delivered with such sincerity that it opens the song for the audience as Sade triggered my empathy. For me, I do understand what Sade felt, but Jay-z spoke in my name by being so personal

  • @pariah247 Thank, pariah247. Nice to know i'm not the only Sade follower sharing the same opinion. Can you imagine Sade giving into the recent AUTO TUNE TREND? On second thought, Sade would have tore it up using the voice altering gimmick (wish YouTube offered SPELLCHECK). Who knows, she might try it. After all, Kanya West has mastered this new technology. Sorry, my trance if thought took off for a moment. Peace.

  • WoW this song is Crazy i think this song is a perfect blend of both music genre's.... perfect voice(Sade), perfect poetry (Jay-Z) .....would love to see this Song performed live!!! As far as Sade not wanting Jay at first probably had to do with her not really understand that Jay is a different type of rapper. Not all that ying yang nonsense...

  • @maalininatashaa your ignorance is excused

  • she didn't want JAY for the remix. She's a complete Artist almost 30years in the game. I THANK YOU LUCAS.

  • amazing mix. thank you.

  • amazing song... words are so deep

  • 2:20 for rap fans

  • I am just Obsessed by this song... Bewitched by the chemistry of this collaboration. This is how you make a Remix !

  • @bellissimanerd I absolutely adore this song. Jay was a great addition to an already beautiful song by the talented Ms. Sade & her incredible BAND.

  • Great...

  • Wow!!!! Jay went in on his verse!!!!! Great song!!!

  • the girl sounds like a guuy :L

  • Comment removed

  • @MaaliniNatashaa She doesn't sound like a guy to me, she sounds femenine but has a deep and powerful voice.
