I have watched this many times with my copy of the movie. Can't really hear it here, but the Chipettes are makeing ALL of the music. Not only are they snaping their fingers and tapping their paws on the tin but also their tails are hitting the sign to get the beat. Love it!

They don't sync the singing with their mouths. I mean, at the start you can see that almost whole song is sung by Jeanette, looking at their mouths and knowing that Jeanette's voice's the lowest. And at the last words suddenly Brittany takes on Jeanette's voice and moves mouth while Jeanette keeps it shut.Bad animators.

@GoldenFeatherKid, I completely agree with you that the singing wasn't completely synced with their mouths, which made for choppy, TERRIBLE mistakes that professional animators should have caught and fixed. They made the same mistakes with a lot of singing scenes in both this one, and the third one... In Chipwrecked, the animators did an even WORSE job at keeping the songs synced with the chipmunk's mouth movement.
