With this position you are able to break the arm of your opponent. And if you don't push you opponent's face at the end, there is also a chance to injure his neck enormously.

I am doing Muay Thai but I would not be able to do jiu jitsu...I am not used to letting men this close to me.....it'd sure be very uncomfortable for me...I'd feel ashamed..though I can see jiu jitsu is extremely useful!:-)

i would love to practice bjj and i dont really care about the fact it is practical or not in real life situations, but it IS a fact that these days when you get in trouble noone is man enough to go face to face, its always in uneven numbers, and taking a fight to the floor probably means a few thousand kicks to the head by a bunch of ******************************­********************
