I Have a VOX v847 wah, But when play distorsion and put the pedal on it sounds different then without the pedal on.. Could this be the amp or the pedal or the settings?

@BigBuckethead1 Where is it in your signal chain? Generally the wah comes before any over drives or distortions.

I've had box the vox and the crybaby and much prefer the vox, it's got a nice smoother doesn't and doesn't bite the notes and it keeps nice round the high end.

can anyone help me i got this pedal used for 40 bucks and when i plug it in and dont turn it on it makes the amp sound muffled, like i turned the tone knob on my guitar down, is this the pedal or the amp or the chords im using or what? im running through a 30w vox valvetronix btw

@SiKxBlAzEr It could be any of those. I hear a lot of people say that cheap chords will cut the tone out of your sound. It also could be the pedal. Many wahs do not have true bypass (unless you mod it yourself to be a true bypass.) I would say get some new chords first, and if it that doesn't work then do the true bypass mod. if still no luck buy a new pedal.

@tov3 only chinese models made come with DC input and battery socket..USA model only got the battery system.just unscrew four rubber feet to get access(10sec) don't know a thing about reliability between thé chinese and USA.Mine is USA and it's pretty heavy and good finish..hard swith not for fain
