Does it work with a square camera lens?? please someone help! I need to know this because I have to recreate one for college astronomy but my camera lens is a square!
@RoboticusMusic It's not camera-dependent, you can usually recreate it at will using spotlights and a snow machine, but that sounds like a tall order for a college astronomy class.
Just out of curiosity, what part of Switzerland is this in? I plan on traveling to Germany and Switzerland next fall, this would be a nice addition of places to visit.
Nice diamond dust display! The halos seen were Parry arcs, supralateral arc, circumzenithal, upper tangent arc, and parhelic circle. None are too common.
Mmm ... you cathed some rare parts ... like supralateral sunvex parry arc and normal suncave parry arc, also circumzenithal arc and parhelic circle !!! ... you should keep this video forever dude !
What a beautiful complex display! Never seen such a razor-sharp Parry arc before. Note the bright parhelic circle, awesome. And that colorful arc adjacent to 46-deg halo is probably in connection with Parry, the same crystals. Never seen such an arc before either. Thanx a lot for posting it!
those are the most intense sundogs Ive ever seen. that's incredible how it hangs in front of the mountain. a great example of parry arcs too. tell us where the ski hill is!
reminds me of the skyrim landscape.

Beautiful and odd, when nature decides to remove us from the equation, it will.

@bushdidit2u911 Chemtrails are a load of crap, whoever came up with it has 0% clue of cloud physics.

See my post I saw the same but it was due to massive amounts of chemtrail activity in Northern NJ USA

That is nice. But I´ve notice in some halo pictures than there is a coincidence, I´ve saw a propulsion plane in them.
