well thats the healthiest, fittest, happiest basset ive seen for ages. And I go to Crufts. Would much rather see your hound there. I dont think some of the Bassets at crufts wouldnt be capable of jumpin up for a fuss! I have english pointers, got a litter on the way! Congratulation what a fine example and a unusual colour too!

Definitely a basset mix with a bloodhound. You can tell based on the coloring and the size of the feet, possibly the height (anything over 14 inches falls out of "pure" basset according to AKC). What a beautiful dog!

cute basset mix doggie, with those ears it helps to use half vinegar/half rubbing alcohol mix with cotton to clean his ears, that's why he is shaking his head so much! As I write this our 3 bassets are snoozing loudly! Best of luck.
