yeah lets go nuclear and blow up the us like china did sure why not....yall ppl sure dont knw anything about coal do you. do u realize the fumes that come out of your tail pipe is 4 time dirtier that what coal produces. u do realize coal is the only thing keeping ur lights on and ur electric bills low u think there high know
@lathepuppy - did one of the coal companies provide you those talking points? Sadly, engineers and scientists don't agree with you. wind provided 10% of Texas' power this year; wind provided 15% of Iowa's wind power. That power is running laptops, refrigerators, and air conditioners. I suggest you try again, with some facts this time.
Do you enjoy having abundant electricity? Do you know that for every mega watt produced by wind there has to be that much in back up called spinning reserve, if the wind doesn't blow they have to make it up with hydro (depends on spring runoff for greater portion), gas fired (price prohibitive), nuclear (you hate them more even than coal) or coal!
The options you support will not cover even a 10th of the power needed, who will have to be in the cold and dark until they catch up?

Awesome! Bloomberg continues on a funny pop-culture streak and DJ Steve supports Sierra Club's efforts to move beyond coal. Win-win.
