@violaine1 I recommend first make sure he is able to play the duduk. It's not an ordinary flute, and from what I've heard it is very difficult to play. Duduk comes from Armenia, so I recommend searching online. Also, if you live near large Armenian communities, LA for example, you could ask around the shops.

Hey guys. Could someone please help me out? My boyfriend is a professional oboist and I'm thinking about buying him a duduk for his birthday. I know nothing about them. Any suggestions on where to look or what to buy? I'm assuming I'll order it from ebay if there's something there. Thanks!!

@violaine1 I recommend first make sure he is able to play the duduk. It's not an ordinary flute, and from what I've heard it is very difficult to play. Duduk comes from Armenia, so I recommend searching online. Also, if you live near large Armenian communities, LA for example, you could ask around the shops.
