Is there ANYONE who knows where my 150cc GY6 engine model number is? NOT the serial number but the MODEL number. I need someone who has the skills to illiterate EXACTLY where it is. Please help!
@dajae01 Watch your moped laws. Some small bikes require a motorcycle license, some a regular drivers license and some a moped license, and some no license depending on where you live. The dealer should know this. I own a 50 cc. Aprilia but it did not qualify as a moped in Texas because it goes 42 mph and here, a moped cannot go faster than 30, so I need a motorcycle license to ride it. Other 50 cc. like the Honda Metro do qualify as mopeds here. Anything larger is considered a motorcycle.
how are these for winter driving? the most i'll be driving is back and forth to school, which is 3 km away, i live in canada, but the roads are well plowed and salted.
@bigadrian100 i saw your question, ive done some decent research on mopeds, make sure you get an american one, chinesse mopeds break down alot and COULD be dangerous if they get screwed up while driving. im just sayin, a good moped will cost around $2k maybe alittle less if used
Yeah lets get an AMERICAN scooter right after you buy your american lcd tv and american built laptop - yep shouldn't be hard to find those things....NOT. The only thing we still build in this country are guns and even those now are starting to go the way of everything else. I say if your broke, need cheap transportation and can operate a screw driver a chinese scooter is a great way to go.
@fuwad84 i got a400$ chinese scoot bout a year an a half ago.put 8000 miles on it back and forth to work.if your a little mech inclined their not so bad.its saved me hundreds this year in gas,4 bucks a week or less to run it to work and back all week.cant argue with 48 bucks a year gas .and yeh,good luck finding an american made motorcycle nodays,especially a scooter
@thirtyfourten Cheaper than walking, i can definitely say that. Although its not for the faint of heart, heck I'm both a certified mechanic and 3rd year engineering student and can STILL say that the damn thing is a pain in the ass, alot alot problems - gotta find that balance though between runs like shit but reliable and runs good but is about to fall apart.
dude your kick start is touching your kick stand....i dint design the bike but even i know that your kick starter needs to be up higher.....somuch fior the pe-op inspection
