Use of lasers is absolutely pointless procedure in this case.
Without the use of lasers:
1. Set a cross of the optics pointing to the center of the target.
2. Shoot one arrow.
3. If the crossbow was displaced by the shots - move it so that a cross of the optics pointing again to the center of the target - no matter where the arrow fell.
4. Use screws to adjust a cross of the optics pointing to the arrow, without moving the crossbow.
@mintwithahole We already tried that one and you had to have adjustments on the laser to align it to true center.
Our laser units are inside the shaft and are boresighted to true center. Apple Archery has a unit they sell with the adjustments on the laser head, I think they sell it for around $179.00.
@stmpdogg I doubt a bolt will have the same trajectory as a laser. This means that you will be sighting your scope at 7 yards with this laser and compensate with the windage and elevation knobs.
@bf2lover42 The Laser gives your predicted flight path to the target. There is a formula we use to determine the point in the flight that the laser aligns to the target bulls-eye. There is a point in the trajectory that we have near perfect alignment from the laser to the actual impact point of the arrow at 20-yards. Follow the instructions that come with the product and you'll see how well it works!
