Quick question, I hear people say that you should make your own sounds, but when I watch videos on how to make your own hardstyle sounds, all you get is a sound that sounds just like every other preset hardstyle sound that you can download. The only tweaking I do to my sounds is adding reverb or a phaser effect, but I really dont see the point in producing your own sounds, shouldnt it be about producing good songs and now good sounds since most leads sound preety damn similar to eachother?

well. why don't you try producing a sound using your recorded farts?

every genre has its own sounds. detuned saws for a lead sound is the classic thing you use for trance and hardstyle. they can sound very different.

and people who say you should make your own sounds are mostly just jealous beginners. professional producers are actually forced to make own sounds since their creativity tells them which sounds fits best. so they make themself the perfect fitting sound. (no matter if its a fart)

Found a few days back a preset from builder - my life is just a demo...

Top notch producers are using presets to, so don't worry about making your own sounds. Just find some good vst's with good presets and tweak them.

That is ok, but you will never really understand the sounds and how and why they fit in, until you make your own sounds.

I don't know why when i change the SPD in Pitch that vibrating sound that you get doesn't appear in mine, there is no change at all in the sound. what am i doing wrong? :(

its a basic supersaw, usable for anything if you use your brain and dont follow my instructions step by step..

the only thing i tried to show is how a basic supersaw lead works: put in saw shapes, detune them, add reverb and delay and add some effects and EQ. actually my sound sucks, but i did what i always do to make leads. some sound good, some dont..

another thing: why didnt u skip to the end of the clip? i added a "pin marker" for u guys long ago!
