Yes, actually, I've seen them live too...just about a month ago. I can honestly say I dont like Duvall. and I have listened to every song on the new album and the only thing of AIC I notice is a few similar guitar riffs, and jerry's voice. Its NOT AIC without Layne's imput. The sound is COMPLETELY different. But whatever, different opinions is what makes the world go round.

Layne was involved in the glam scene before he met Jerry, and yes they changed to a different style of music, but kept a variation of the name of laynes previous band and glam influence can be heard throughout Facelift. Also AiC were never grunge, that was only a media label for most seatle bands at the time
