Its a great plane but when it comes to strength on a landing it isn't the best in the world but a good plane non the less.

yes they are not very "controllable" but it gets much better then this if you knowhow to use the wind to your advantage..

I flew mine for the first time today .. what a blast!
It ended up with a broken wing but not quite as bad as yours! Eeek :D
Some packing tape later, and I'm hoping it'll fly again (just waiting for the battery to charge)

Wow! It flies fine! Extra weight to the nose helps a great deal (though not too much else it flies REALLY fast).
My wing had almost been severed completely off, some packing tape around the middle and some along the leading edge and it flies perfectly!
Has anyone tried one of these with the extra weight on the nose? I've got mine built and hoping to fly it tomorrow...

You can try to change the position of the tail wings

I bought a spare so I have new wings!! I've not flown it again as the weather has been too windy! I think you are right I might add some weight to the nose next time!

Yes it seemed very light on the nose, though the tests I did showed the plane coming down in a nice arc not liftin on the nose like in flight.
