My 2004 stock 3.0 v6 accord leaves every Camery i've ever seen. Accords are very quick cars. go look at the new accord review video. Stock 0-60 was 5.4.

sorry, but about what restrictions you are talking about, and actually I could not understand how the revs is so fast from 0-3000 rpms, have you done something with ECU, some chiping, or remaping the main comp?

damn man... i think yours might be a tad faster... but you were using a good camera or at least somethign better than my phone lol. word of advice dont ever get a TBS.. get the thermal gasket just one and do the coolant bypass. i think my TBS did more harm than good.

I so want to like these cars but with no HID (hello Honda, your S2000 had them 10 years ago) led tail lights (why in the hell did the Accord lose them) and no manumatic option, it's just missing too many extras that make the car complete.

@plutonium9 - Yea, I don't understand why Honda resists HID's for the Accord...especially the V6 coupe! It would make a significant difference in my opinion.

another good mod is the crank pulley man... it really helps it rev out. its like 200 bucks. im gonna make more videos that show mine doing 60 in under 6 but i gotta have someone hold my phone or something cause i can't focus on the road and driving well enough.

Thanks! My Accord probably sounds a little faster than it really is. I'm not saying it's slow because it sure is quick and fun to drive. I have the occasional regret for not getting the 6 speed. The manuals are in a different league.

hey man we just got one of these and the traction control is always stepping in anyway to turn it off, the vsc off button doesn't do shit either

@cerwinvegafan - Are you sure that you turned the traction off?  You have to hold it down for a couple seconds and you'll hear a beep. With the traction off you will not have any assisstance from the traction conrol system. The negative of turning off the traction is that the engine will be limited to 90% throttle until 10mph. When the traction is on then engine can run @ 100% as soon as the pedal hits the floor....of course you have a higher likelyhood of the tires spinning.

You joking right? You can't be more wrong. IS350 does 0-60 in the 5 high seconds to start things off. To finish things off. The IS250 is much slower than the TSX, fool. The IS250 is a 16 second 1/4 mile while the TSX is a 15 second 1/4 mile. Also the steering in the IS250 is horrible. I will only give it the fact that is more luxurious, but everything else the TSX tops the IS250. Please do research before trying to correct someone that did research.

good, intake and borla thank god its not a fart can kind of exhaust, it tottaly just takes away the engine's sound and just make the whole thing overall sound like shit. good choice on this honda.

Sure! I removed all of the intake except for the airbox. I cut out a small opening on the fender side of the airbox to increase fresh air flow. I added a larger pipe from the cat back to the Borla mufflers. I recently added an aftermarket reconator to deaden the sound inside the cabin. I think it sounds great and I was able to avoid the ricey bumble bee sound. The car makes a nice low end grunt and has excellent top end power. Thanks for the comments!

Dead set at 6 seconds. Only the 3.5L Accord can compete with the Toyota V6, with some video clips showing 0-60 in around 6 seconds as well. Auto...what can I see, where's the fun? It's whoever has the heavier foot? LOL

I just like to point out that honda has not made a performance V6 since the 90s. Lets just remember that in 1990 Honda had a 3.0 V6 engine making 270 HP. Thats CRAZY... Using 20 year old technology...

How about this... The F20C was a 2.0 4Cyl in 2000 MAKING 247 HP & a 9000 RPM redline!!

With out VTEC that would not be possible... VTEC owns buddy XD

@2driftlong - I tend to agree. I'm happy overall with the automatic but I knew I would have days of regret for not going with the manual. I'd like to run a 3.5 Camry. I bet it would be an interesting race. The Camry might get out the gate a bit quicker, but I bet my Accord could reel it in by 80-100mph.

@ousoonerbg Sounds Nice but you will beat a camry like to 80-120mph most hondas are very quick on topend but once your limiter comes in which is about 126mph camry will fly by cause its limiter is at 145mph. One question whats the 1/4 time for the automatic v6 coupe

@ousoonerbg Where did you see 14.5 for the auto? The only numbers I've seen for the V6 auto are in the 15's. MT got 0-60 in 6.5 and the 1/4th in 15.0 at 94. Yawn. The 0-60 isn't bad, but given Honda's reputation for strong top end, I expected the 1/4 to be a lot better. C&D tested at Camry V6 at 5.7 sec 0-60 and 100 mph in the 1/4.

@jsnevels2 Actually I'm not sure about the limiter on Hondas, my friend has a 2003 Accord coupe and its limiter was supposed to be like112 or 124, we have added a K&N air intake and a TBS to it, but nothing to remove the limiter and it hit 136, it may have more but we ran out of road and havent wanted to go that fast again, it was bought used but I dont think it was modded.

Not likely to happen since the Camry has anywhere from 2-5 mph on it by the 1/4 mile (the best 1/4 mile trap speed I have seen on the Accord is 95 mph for the 3.5L auto). Camry is running anywhere from 97-100 mph depending on whose test data you read (MT or C&D). The Accord is a nicer car, though, hands down. It's interior materials and fit/finish make the Camry look like the Korean cars from 10 years ago. The Accord just needs 6 cogs with a short ratio 1st gear.

Well, yeah, it was actually 102.5 to be exact...but that was with the 6 speed. I don't understand why the 5 speed is so much slower, quite honestly...makes me wonder if the 6 speed is underrated. Both are sweet cars.
