@tapipau i agree. hyo and soo suit the international palate, yoona suits the local palate. for westerners yoona will look the same as any other plain-faced asian girl, whereas sooyoung and hyoyeon depict more of the outlier asian look, or the more exotic looks in general. easily proven by letting people who have never seen snsd watch their first mv "into the new world". when they see yoona and yuri and seohyun they will say it's the same girl, but they can tell soo and hyo apart from the rest.

As much as I know that beauty is the main key to being popular, I really don't like the fact that some fans are just going "Hyoyeon is so pretty these days!" like she wasn't gorgeous before and loving her more only because of that. -__- I personally found her more gorgeous with this look than what she looks like now (not that she's not pretty now, of course), but that doesn't mean I'll stop liking her as much. Actually Yoona only got 2 solo shots not 3, and in the beginning they showed Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, and Yuri but they showed Yoona after 40 seconds. Yoona is my favorite in SNSD and she has improved a lot in singing and dancing lately. I really like her personality. If you watch variety shows you will know what I'm talking about. Yoona is AMAZING!! Almost like Perfect. I love her so much!! Show them watch you got Yoona, cuz you will always be my favorite in everything, no matter what!! Yoona <3

@tapipau i agree. hyo and soo suit the international palate, yoona suits the local palate. for westerners yoona will look the same as any other plain-faced asian girl, whereas sooyoung and hyoyeon depict more of the outlier asian look, or the more exotic looks in general. easily proven by letting people who have never seen snsd watch their first mv "into the new world". when they see yoona and yuri and seohyun they will say it's the same girl, but they can tell soo and hyo apart from the rest.

They are all good but NONE are perfect. So please stop putting Hyoyeon on a pedestal and shove the other three down a cliff.
Hyoyeon and Yoona lacks the creativity Sooyoung possess.
Sooyoung and Yuri lacks the flawless moves Yoona possess.
Yuri lacks a good memory that Yoona have (too many mistakes).

Actually Yoona only got 2 solo shots not 3, and in the beginning they showed Sooyoung, Hyoyeon, and Yuri but they showed Yoona after 40 seconds. Yoona is my favorite in SNSD and she has improved a lot in singing and dancing lately. I really like her personality. If you watch variety shows you will know what I'm talking about.
