  • Welcome to Virginia!

  • really these waves suck there only like 3 feet and how are you supposed to surf them

  • for sure. got to start out in that light water.

  • the big wave was done by the fat lady trying to flag down the passing ice-cream truck.

  • i make bigger waves when i fart in the bathtub

  • GET THE FUCK OUT OF VB SOME PEOPLE WANT TO SURF WITHOUT FAGS BEING IN THEIR WAY

  • @SWEETSKULLYproductio Who the fuck is going to surf that?

  • where at??

  • virginia beach

  • a good beginner beach is the wedge or cyclops

  • @Mrextremeo and teahupoo and peahi and cortez bank and pipeline

  • @nickalexrock dont forget todos santos, mavericks, ghost tree and shipsterns, all those are quite easy for beginners.

  • @bacura101 indeed

  • @omishari3 i hate to break it to you buddy but 5 feet is VERY small.

  • @bacura101 depends how you mesure it. to me, a 5 foot wave is 2 feet over head. I measure 5'-7"

  • im so glad i bodyboard the wedge everyday

  • ooooooo you've been to myrtle beach twice, that makes you what practically an oceanic engineer and bathymetry expert, going to myrtle beach twice (hahahahahaha) and looking at pictures on google images does not make you an expert.

if i'm not mistaken myrtle beach not only face almost directly south it's also tucked into the part of the east coast thats protected by North Carolina. combine that with the fact that it sits at one of the widest points of the continental shelf. what does that mean?

  • It means it's unlikely for most waves to even get to myrtle beach as most waves in the Atlantic (with the exception of tropical systems) come from the blustery northern atlantic ocean as opposed to the relatively calm equatorial ocean (where they called it the doldrums aka area of no wind).

And those few waves that do head to myrtle beach are going to be halved in size because the water is so shallow for close to 100 miles.

  • This means myrtle beach is almost perfectly situated to see the least amount and the smallest wave action of anywhere on the east coast, and as bad as surfers in vb have it (and its pretty dam bad) being a south carolina surfer must be complete and total hell,

You should learn not to generalize a group of people as stupid or idiotic, otherwise one of them who's much more learned than you on the subject may make you look like an idiot

  • @cruizer8293 i don't look at pictures on google i don't even hardly use google and i never said i was an expert but i study the ocean alot and i have noticed that the pacific is better for surfing

  • beginner surfers are goin to bash there heads open on those waves. and it is eazyer to catch a biger wave than small shity shore brake

  • im from vb so dont hate

  • @baseballguy65 agreed, it's not all that bad. VB has some decent waves on a regular basis, obviously not west coast stuff but still enough to keep a boarding community alive and happy.

  • These are pretty good waves for VA beach

  • i live here my whole life like the time

    of the native american

go to love va no racism

    love it !!!

  • smallest freaking waves I've ever seen......do u honestly think those are big???

  • they get way bigger here.. yesterday was awesome, we had a huge sandbar out there and nice breaks.

  • so you threw a rock in the ocean and video taped the ripples then called them waves? you have no life

  • wow. nobody can possibly surf a wave that small. impossible

  • Umm those are shitty shore breaks, you'd break your board if you tried to surf them. I've had soooo much better there. You should have videotaped Hanna. That was some killer surf.

  • lake

  • those waves are big enough for beginner surfers ... there definiately not even close to what we've gotten but there ok sometimes

  • What are you talking about thats all shorebreak and those waves suck for surfing.

  • im here now lol

  • those are actually pretty average waves. in rhode island at Masquamicet (don't know how to spell it) the waves are HUGE!!!!!!!!!!! i mean they are so big that they made a huge 6' 4' 260 lbs(maybe bigger) guy do 3 cartwheels in the water. now that is huge. and he was paying attention to the waves too, obviously cause they were so huge!

  • CroatanProductions is right. Those waves are not a good day of waves.

  • That looks like a pretty average day to me...

  • It's about 5 ft. waves 4 1/2 ft. waves.

  • lol

  • wow there super big

  • You're a disgrace to VB take this shit down. We may not get a lot of waves but that is a normal day not "Super Huge Waves". When Noel hit it was 8-9 feet, maybe you should filmed then.

  • lol im goin there this weekend! whee lol i want waves like that.!

  • its freakiin 2-3 foot

  • DO YOU REMENBER AMINA ALI>>>.

  • hahaha boyyy would you look at the size of them' ocean waves... a whole 2 feet tall woooooeeeee hahahahHAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • shooot they was bigger than that wen i was there hah

  • I hope you die. dont ever come back dumbasses.

  • yeah their big allright rofl !!!

  • hauhauahuahauha

  • Live in VA and have seen them bigger...hope you enjoyed them. "ya'll come back now, ya hear".

  • yes mohawk bro... it is actually called bodyboarding now... has been since like 1995.... not big at all i live in hawaii...lol
