I have a 3 year old Bichon Frise named Lilli, and she is the happiest dog in the whole wide world! :~) Yes, Bichons smile and laugh...I have never encountered a more "human" like dog in my life. Her emotions are like that of a child, you can tell when she is sad, or not feeling well...and she even wags her tail in her sleep. I had a poodle and I always say that dogs are able to smile. It's pretty obvious when they are happy, serious or anger, Just owners know what their dogs like and we make the effort (as owners) to see those cute smiles everyday to shine our days. I think it doesn't matter the dog's race, they all do smile and make our day a beautiful day. I miss my dog's laughs to mend my broken heart since he past away....
