dude you need to do the PAIR valve mod to get rid of that major backfiring and popping. Its easy and cheap.  I blocked mine off with vacuum hoses on the airbox, PAIR valve, and the exhaust manifold. You should research PAIR valve mod....DO IT.....you need it.
